Dark chocolate is loaded with anti-oxidants that come from the flavinoids discovered in pure cocoa. These anti-oxidants prevent cancer, heart disease along with number of other illness. You are also consuming vitamins and minerals like iron, magnesium and vitamin B. While dairy can inhibit the effects of anti-oxidants, dark chocolate is created with little or no dairy and can be enjoyed by those with dairy allergies or sensitivities.
