Left: The district of Theni, where I stayed, is surrounded by the Western Ghats. Its ubiquitous green stretches of cultivated lands and tea gardens are a sight to behold. This illustration is an attempt to capture the beauty of walking amidst nature.
I have always held artisans in high regard due to the skills they acquire without any formal education, and it fascinates me how craft is passed on from one generation to another. This is why I chose to live with the weaving community of Theni, Tamil Nadu. The women of Tamil Nadu have been a constant source of inspiration for me. They are fierce, caring, and helpful.
I was awestruck by the stunning architecture and vibrant colors of Jaisalmer. I wanted to capture the essence of the city in my artwork, particularly the traditional Indian homes, known as Havelis.

I am constantly being reminded of the power and beauty of female strength and resilience.
