Hey I’m Gautam a student at RV college of Architecture, my journey here has been enriching so far and has opened many horizons. I’m quite logical in my approach that allows me to develop human centric and immersive design schemes. I’m intrigued by how architecture pans out of the digital realm. I’m constanty looking for new experiences that allow me to grow in proffesional and personal environment.
Apart from architecture I’m into photography, illustration and volunteering in NGO’s for social causes. I Enjoy travelling and gardening too.

Here in Ulavi , Uttar kannada district situated the sacred temple of Channabasavanna, Every year In the month of February Annual Chariot Festival is being held amidst lakhs of devotees coming across the country. During this annual festival which will be of 2 weeks various cultural ,folks ,Sharana Vachana ,bhajans programmes are held, apart from wrestling competitions and other events. Dasoha ( Free Meals) :the milestone concept of providing free meals ( Dasoha ) ,the very concept of Sharanas according to Lingayath cult.
As Ulavi is situated in the midst of forest the availability of food from hotels or restaurants is less, so temple provide in Dasoha, but due to High crowd some people bring food voluntarily and distribute but these distribution places are scattered and have no proper place for interaction. so to deviate the crowd gathering at the main temple i’ve placed two areas in such a way that it diverts the big crowd and help easily recognize the space.
Site Plan
The site is located little away from the procession path and crowded area, so that it deviates the crowd. When the aggregation is distributed it will be easy for the people to easily locate the food providing areas. In this supersaturated context the priority is given to ease of acces of food during thr Jatre and a good space for seating.
The need of public space in the village during Jatre ,rich culture with lush green forest around and the corner site led to the formation of the structure
The project is aimed to create a vivid Open space, that is Extroverted to the context.and creates active communication of the influx of the people and as a result creates a social culture.
This Intervention situated a bit farther away from temple, while the fair is going on it serves as food providing area where people can get their tractors with food in boxes and can serve here. Later during the normal days this can be used as public space.

The aim of the competition was to integrate the concept of co-living within a housing block to add the social and community factor that is lacking in these concrete blocks, To implement the idea of co-living on a housing scale where the number of tenements can be economically viable and also become a dynamic and interactive prototype for the world.
The proposal aims at dedensifying living spaces and provides scope to build personalized neighborhoods that are true to the essence of co-living while ensuring sustainable living by creating energy loops.
The idea of the incremental neighborhood is explored further by providing the residence with necessary community spaces and smaller subsidiary interactive spaces also leaving the rest of the space to them for personalization and ownership
Cross ventiliation Achieved through porosity (by dedesification)
Energy Recyclying Looped energy transfer
Voids help in thermal insulation
Atrium helps in heat dissipation and better ventilation
giving back the ground to the community
Daylighting and self shading for all units achieved through organisation and planning unobstructed view for all units
Stack effect atrium helps in heat dissipation

The Semester brief was to have a Media hub in centre of city, Bengaluru. Where on west it was residential and commercial and public building on all sides and Green lush of trees at south.
The site had an existing Large Rain tree and my concept was building arond it allowing the occupants to connect the campus in different levels with the tree as an connecting node. The staggered floors created open spaces and perforated bricks help in thermal comfort of occupants.

The goal of this competition is to shed new light on the meaning and value of tall buildings in modern society. To engage with the exploration and resolution of the synergistic relationship between a tall building and its urban setting; how that tall building can be inspired by the cultural, physical, and environmental aspects of its site; how the program of the building is influenced by the micro and macro site/ urban conditions; and how the building responds to global issues.
The project aims at creating alternative forms of occupancy of city dwellers of jakarta in response to the alarming condition of sea levels in the place. (Sources estimate that the northern Jakarta would go under water by 2050) The Volatile City is a self sufficient floating skyscraper that accomodates 50,000 people and the rest of the population can be housed by creating colonies of these structure.
