Women’s Outdoor Network Take a stroll along one of Georgia’s many remote rivers or pitch a tent with other women in the Atlanta metro area. The group’s been around for nearly 20 years and focuses on helping queer women stay in shape and healthy. Membership is only $15 per year.

Funky Black Gals Grab your girlfriends and take a trip into nature with this group geared towards adventure-seeking Black queer women. You can plan on hiking, horseback riding, camping, and canoeing with those who share your passion for the outdoors!

Wilderness Network of Georgia This gay and bisexual men’s outdoor group will take you on an adventure you won’t forget. It’s a volunteerdriven group open to men-loving men 18 and older. This group plans regular activities, including whitewater rafting trips, hikes in Georgia’s scenic mountains and even a group outing to the annual Beltline lantern parade. Day and overnight trips give members a chance to connect and bond with other men in the area. Annual membership dues are only $20.
