e afgelopen jaren waren voor de meesten van ons moeilijk. Daarom is het nu zo belangrijk dat we Pride vieren, en wel zoveel mogelijk! Mister B heeft voor 2022 daarom de B PROUD Pride-campagne verlengd! Dit foto- en videoproject viert dat we allemaal verschillend zijn en dat onze eigenheid ons verbindt. Dit is belangrijk omdat verbondenheid ons krachtig maakt. En het is nog nooit zo belangrijk geweest, omdat we zien dat er over de hele wereld vreselijke homofobische, bifobische en transfobische incidenten plaatsvinden. B PROUD 2022 biedt een verscheidenheid aan unieke mensen uit de LHBTQ+-gemeenschap die, net als jij, een bijzondere zienswijze hebben die ze met de rest van ons willen delen. Ieder van hen komt met een speciale boodschap om ons aan de waarde van Pride te herinneren. In tegenstelling tot vorig jaar kregen we deze keer de kans om naar meerdere plekken te gaan en zo buiten de landsgrenzen te reiken. Zo kunnen we onze internationale gemeenschap vertegenwoordigd. Naast onze thuisbasis Amsterdam gingen we naar Antwerpen en Berlijn om deze trotse mensen op te zoeken. We bezochten iconische herkenningspunten en de lokale scenes die de essentie van elke stad weergeven, aangezien die stad deel uitmaakt van de Pride-ervaring van die persoon. Deze drie steden zijn de thuisbasis van onze drie Brand Stores, dus het was extra fijn om de mensen te leren kennen die bekend zijn met onze winkels en het lokale personeel. In Antwerpen fotografeerden we het Internationale Mister Leather Gala in de buurt van Waagnatie, de locatie van het grote Europese fetisjfestival Darklands. We waren met Amanda op de Grote Markt vlakbij het Fetish Café (de plek waar je haar meestal vindt).
B PROUD WITH MISTER B These last few years have been difficult for most of us. For this reason, it is especially important that we celebrate Pride… as much as possible! To celebrate Pride 2022, Mister B has gone and done another round of the community-based B PROUD Pride campaign! This photo and video project celebrates the fact that we are all different and our uniqueness is what connects us. This matters because being connected is what makes

us powerful, and this has never been more important as we see horrible instances of homophobia, biphobia and transphobia continue around the world. B PROUD 2022 features a variety of unique folks from the local LGBTQ+ community who, like you, have a special point of view that they can share with the rest of us. They each have a special message to remind us of the value of Pride. Unlike last year, this time we had the opportunity to venture out
to multiple spots and find locals to re p rese n t our community. Besides our home base in Amsterdam, we went to Antwerp and Berlin to find these proud folks. We went to iconic landmarks and scenes that capture the essence of each city, as the city is part of each person’s Pride experience. These three cities are home to our three Brand Stores, so it was an extra pleasure getting to
know the folks who are familiar with our shops and local staff. In Antwerp, we photographed International Mister Leather Gael at the Harborfront, right by the Waagnatie, the location of Darklands Festival, a huge, European fetish festival. We were with Amanda at the Grote Markt square, located down the road from Fetish Café (the place where you can usually find her). And we took photos with Marciano in Central Station as it is the artery of the city and the place where he and his husband come almost every weekend.
