They operate 7 days a week in season and add a tremendous value to Puerto Vallarta as an LGBT destination. Although each venue is unique, both bring a wide variety of entertainment and great performers to our city. In this issue we are proud to feature Act 2 Entertainment and The Palm cabaret venues. Y así ocurrió el pasado 15 de julio en el Auditorio Telmex de Guadalajara, donde, como parte de "El Amor World Tour", presentó su espectáculo ante un auditorio lleno que no paró de gritar y cantar sus canciones, y en el que GAYPV no podía faltar para traerte la reseña. Con una producción visual fastuosa y rica, Gloria nos sorprendió con un show muy diferente a sus giras anteriores, donde lejos de enfocarse en bailarines y cambios de vestuario, vimos un cuidado musical excepcional con una nutrida banda de músicos de primera, acompañados de una orquesta de cuerdas que se dejó escuchar desde la obertura que, enmarcada con una escenografía teatral donde predominaba una enorme luna, nos anunciaba que veríamos un espectáculo diferente al que nos tenía acostumbrados en el pasado (no podemos olvidar que su anterior gira fue duramente criticada). Y siguiendo con ese ambiente teatral, Gloria nos entregó un espectáculo muy original, dividido en tres grandes
etapas: la primera donde, totalmente metida en su papel de Mr. Trevi (y vestida como tal, de traje y sombrero), cantó algunas de las canciones incluidas en su más reciente material discográfico en el que hace homenaje a grandes cantantes masculinos, arrancando con aquél tema que hiciera famoso el Divo de Linares, Rafael, "Como Yo Te Amo", para continuar con otro tema del mismo Rafael "Mi Gran Noche" en un excelente mash up con el tema "La Noche". Siguiendo con su personaje, y entre groserías que, con su gran carisma eran aplaudidas por los espectadores, sorprendió al subir a una mujer del público al escenario para realizar bailes lésbicos, finalizando con un beso con uno de los integrantes de su banda de músicos, una mujer para ser exactos. Todo esto justificado por su personaje de Mr. Trevi, pero causando revuelo entre los asistentes. Siguiendo con este coqueteo con su numerosa audiencia gay, hizo mención de aquella película de Ang Lee "Secreto en la Montaña" mientras nos deleitaba la vista con uno de sus bailarines

que, en torso desnudo y cuerpazo, se disputó con Mr. Trevi el amor de la chica del público que seguía en el escenario. Todo esto mientras seguía con canciones del mismo disco, para después despedir a Mr. Trevi con un mensaje de "nadie debe vivir sin amor" mientras interpretaba el cover del tema "El Amor Después del Amor" de Fito Páez. Las siguientes dos partes del concierto, la primera mostrando a una Gloria Trevi madura, hermosa y, ahora sí femenina, y la otra donde nos recordaba aquellos años de greña alborotada y medias rotas, enloquecieron a la audiencia con una lluvia interminable de sorpresas y temas que han sido hits innegables a lo largo de toda su carrera, además de hacer el estreno oficial de su nuevo sencillo, “Dímelo Al Revés”. Se notó el esfuerzo por complacer a todos sus fans y no dejar fuera ninguna de las canciones emblemáticas que la han hecho un ídolo de masas en toda Latinoamérica y Estados Unidos. Definitivamente una noche inolvidable de la que todos sus fans salieron agradecidos, y que seguramente será recordada por mucho tiempo.
