is celebrating its 18th anniversary March 1-8, 2010 and you are invited to be part of this

exciting festival. WinterPRIDE is one of the world’s leading mountain festivals that celebrates diversity and has been named the Number One Gay Ski Week by the editors of PlanetOUT / Gay.com as well as the Number One Lesbian welcoming Ski Week’s by the editors at Out Traveler. Both designations are very important and celebrated accomplishments that have given the festival the opportunity to welcome the world immediately preceding the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in the host mountain destination of Whistler, Canada.

PRIDE House at the 2010 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games The Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games are coming to Whistler and for the first time in Olympic history there will be a venue available to our Gay & Lesbian athletes, coaches, family, friends and allies. A venue we call – PRIDE House. Pride House is located in the centre of Whistler Village at the award winning boutique hotel of Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre. We will have our own entrance from the village into PRIDE House plus access from the hotel. PRIDE House will be a hip lounge space with a cocktail bar with TV monitors to watch the Olympics, hang out, trade pins, a media area to do interviews, and a venue to just have fun. PRIDE House will be designed with the core values of celebrating authenticity, diversity and inclusiveness. PRIDE House will be open from February 8th through to March 28th. The hours of operation is scheduled from 10AM to 10PM daily. (Subject to Change) Branding of the PRIDE House is restricted within the venue itself due to the official Olympic host mountain city regulations.
