BECKY
“Becky” has quickly become our cornerstone Angus donor. Owned with the Lashmett family, she is unlike any Angus cow I have seen. Her power and density is unmatched, shoulder design is not only sounder than 99.5% of Angus population but ties perfectly on her body, and she is still balanced and maternal in her look. We flushed Becky as a virgin and the result was Sloane Curtin’s “Belle” heifer that was her $27,500 pick from our 2021 fall sale. Belle was named the Reserve Supreme Champion Heifer at the Iowa Beef Expo. The LOT 1 daughter of PVF The Natural is on another level when describing her look from the side. LOT 2 is a full sib to Sloane’s heifer. She has the same balance and power but sets down on a softer and squarer hind leg.
“Katia” is another young cow knocking it out of the park. Shown by Tucker Bayer she is out of the original Phyllis 051 from the Four Corners operation that has been nationally known for producing genetics that get the job for their customers. She ammassed many banners during her show career including Supreme titles at World Beef Expo, Minnesota Beef Expo, and a top five finish at Angus Junior Nationals. The first ET daughter of Katia sold on our sale last fall for $37,000 to the Sanders family of Ohio and will be exhibited this fall at the majors. This heifer is a replica of her mother. Exceptional in her build and look with enough power to be a generator for you future firm.
With the popularity of the PGS Angus division we couldn’t let “Uncle Ben” be the only one trying to win a PGS title. Never before have we offered an Angus female as dual purpose as this one. With an outcross pedigree and a genetic profile to back it up she fits the PGS division but her added phenotype will set her apart.
I have always admired the cattle out of Sherwoods Rosebud 83U. Not only for their ability to compete in the showring but how the daughters are improved versions of the matriarch and generate consistently. We partnered with Curtin family On “Sherry” and crossed another cow family off my donor cow hit list. Sherry possesses the flexibility and composed build that has become a rarity in the Angus breed. The flush to Alpha was a no brainer and struck just like I had hoped. This heifer has her mom’s mobility and presence with more shape coming and going.
LOT 5
The first calf we have had the chance to sell out of Bayer’s young Leverage Donor. A Blackbird daughter that originated from Four Corner’s is extreme in her power and bone making her a perfect candidate for the 24 Karat mating. This heifer’s blend of look and dimension will grab a judge’s attention but her foot shape and structure are what will get her the nod in the “sudden death lap” at the big ones.
“Hadley” is another Angus donor owned with Curtin’s. She is a First N Goal out of Dunk’s Maxine donor. She has the stout and rugged build you would expect from her pedigree but still ties it together in a maternal fashion. The flush to Hill Valley Reckoning hit just like we hoped. Three full sisters sold on Curtin’s heifer sale and there is still a bull saved back to show in Oklahoma City this winter. Lot 9 has her mother’s hip and width but is longer necked and is blessed with the presence needed to show at a high level and raise a next generation to be excited about.
“Gwen” is a beast of a cow. She was raised by Faris Simon and is owned with the Lashmett’s. To be honest she is dinosoar big and freaky built in her pieces. It makes sense that Primo would hit on her and pull her back a frame score. This heifer is massive bodied and boned. She is the squarest in her knee of any Primo daughter we have seen.
The first angus flush out of “Vicki” who is owned and shown successfully by the Tlach family. From early on Vicki set the bar in regard to squareness of build and being massive in her made in her body shape. Even though she found success in the ring it was apparent early on that she would be the most effective in the donor pen. That is proven true with this Mahogany Prime daughter. It’s hard to make Angus this tall fronted without sacrificing slope to their shoulder and reach out of their front end. We focus on cattle that can show but also raise outlier for their breed. This one fits the bill.
“9271” is going to set the Angus breed on fire. She has all the intangibles needed to make a consistent donor. XXL sized feet and legs and twice as wide as most. All that power and still flexible and composed on the go. 24 Karat on cows that are almost “too much” is like playing a game with a cheat code. Lot 10 is her mom from her shoulders back but has her sire’s neck and chest. You want this one on your team!

“Phyllis” is a once in a Lifetime donor cow. Raised by the Schwecke Family and out of their famed “Lil Kim” cow, she was our selection from Boyert’s sale offering in 2018. Owned with the Tlach Family; she was campaigned by Jenna becoming one of the most decorated Charolais females in history. Phyllis is a no miss cow with her first ET daughters being bought and shown to the highest level by the Roeder and Rathman families this year. There was a litter of these born in the spring, and you will find them sprinkled in sales all over the country. Lot 12 was my pick. She is unlike any Charolais female I have seen before in how she combines power and structure with a maternal pattern and feminine look.
Lots 13 &14 were raised by Curtis and Cate Doubet. They are both out of their up and coming “Lucy” donor they purchased from the Bunker family and the cow that pulled the Doubets into the Charolais breed. Curtis judged the Wisconsin State Fair and purchased the donor at the backdrop after using her to win Supreme bred and owned heifer. Lucy, has the power the breed is known for with the feet and legs guys judging national shows like Curtis are after. Lot 13 is the show heifer of the pair. Her length of hip and long smooth muscle design separates her from most of her breed competitors.
LOT 13
WATCH HER VIDEO, she was over picture day and so were we! Lot 14 is a big time cow prospect. Completely outcrossed to the bulls being used to raise show heifers today she offers unlimited mating versatility. Huge legs with all the rib and body you could ever want.
The “704E” Gunsmoke x WDM cow owned by RJ has taken the composite world by storm. She not only raises high selling steers but also had a knockout set of flush mate Outsiders this spring. I made three separate trips to RJ’s this year to make sure I had the right read on his incredible set. Lot 15 was my favorite of an extremely impressive set of flush mate sisters. She is so long and extended for a composite female. She looks like a lady but still has the skeletal width and dimension to not only be a show heifer but a valuable breeding piece, just like her mama.
Dunk’s “700” donor is a masterpiece to appraise. A rarity in not only her look but being a WDM out of the original Lucy donor makes her and her offspring timeless pieces to any herd. When going through the cattle at Dunk’s, I couldn’t keep my eyes off her and lot 16 was the natural calf at her side. Sired by “Yellowstone” this heifer has a champion lineage on both sides of her pedigree. Head and neck set, pulled apart in her width, and a running gear that could make a Unverferth wagon jealous are what separates her from other Low Chis her age.
LOT
MPJ “Patsy” donor has been a long time producer of high sellers for their firm and constantly generated some of my favorite cattle on their sale year after year. Patsy was massive hipped and impeccable in how she was built in her front. The mating to Style not only lined up in thought but hit big time in reality. Lot 17 is a show heifer deluxe. She has her mom’s width and look but the soft middle and unbeatable structure needed to run at the country’s toughest shows. This heifer is another level of hairy. If you are serious about buying her, make sure you have a fresh set of sharp clipper blades.
Kane’s “71” donor is new to their battery. She is a direct daughter of Grant Weisinger’s 349 donor who has been a mainstay in his impressive program. Kane’s have just started in on 71 but the future looks incredibly bright. She has all the pieces that are hard to combine and even tougher to own. Lot 18 is as dual purpose as they come. I can see her being a big time show winner or going to a progressive steer program for almost immediate virgin IVF. When you think about it, why choose when you could do both? To top it off, who doesn’t like a ghost face baldy?
Dunk’s “602D” is going to have a breakout year. She is one impressive female and is a direct daughter of the famous 23Y donor that has always been my favorite female in Wayne, NE. Massive everywhere is the best way I can describe 602D. With her huge rib cage and flexibility, it makes sense how WDM hits on her. Ryan and Crystal are my go to stop for chi females and they hooked us up big time this year. Lot 19 is without a doubt the best hind legged direct WDM I have ever witnessed. She is perfect in not only her squareness of build but also the flexibility and softness to her joints. She is level hipped and perfect in her spine. Anyone familiar with WDM understands that if she looks this good green, how insane she will look this time next year.
Tlach’s “Vera” donor is not your grandfather’s kind of Hereford. When I first saw her at Trent Ray’s in Glencoe, OK it took only minutes to decide she needed to be sacked up. He raises my kind of Herefords that push the envelope and are outliers for the breed. Backed by the dominant Georgia Kay donor owned by the Allen Family of Bar A she has the genetic backing to raise stock for the big leagues. Lot 20 is Vera’s first calf. Yes, you read that right a first calf heifer raised this creature! Big things to come from this heifer and her young donor dam.
EWAN OF HIGHLAND HERITAGE X STR KAITLYN
LOT 21 JANUARY // HIGHLANDER
I’m sure everyone is thinking I have lost my mind and maybe I have, but I’ve always liked to rock the boat. Raised by Landon Kane of Red Rock Farms Lot 21 is a result of an embryo purchase from Pearl Walthall and Four Star Genetics and is out of their famed STR Kaitlyn donor that has raised numerous national champions and some of the most progressive Highlands ever. I have always said that I don’t breed discriminate, and will take any breed as long as they fit the mold of an outlier for their breed. This heifer checks all the boxes. I’ve never seen a Highland that can run with this one. Have you?
Nick Edward’s Insight x Poem daughter is the next anchor in his prestigious program. Flexibility is the name of her game and she does it with power! I told Will Coor that I didn’t have a Limmi this year, and he helped to hook me up. He has a full sib that is a highlight on his heifer sale Oct. 11th on SCO. Lot 22 has her mom’s skeletal build and width but takes it even farther with her balance and stunning look from the side.
Kale and Calli Spengler’s “Hootie“ donor is exactly the kind of animal needed to make progressive stock. She is wide and bold ribbed with a rugged foundation. She has raised countless high sellers sired by HIA and this heifer is the result of the first maternal flush on her. All Me was the perfect mating and added the seamless transitions and elite structure he has been blanketing his progeny with. As you can see, Lot 23 is not your normal High Maine heifer. Big bodied and maternal in her kind with all the extras.
WEIS ALL ME
Curtin’s “Lola” is a standout Irish Whiskey daughter of my old Lola donor that gave us our start. She was campaigned successfully by Tanner and topped off her year by being 3rd overall heifer at the Iowa State Fair and a top 5 finish at Aksarben. Lola works on everything but catches another gear on the flush to All Me. Lot 24 is as big boned and stout as you would ever want one. The impressive part is she does it without sacrificing the qualities that make her such a powerful threat as a show heifer. Don’t even try to tell me her picture didn’t at least slow your scroll!
Kevin Braun’s “44” donor is an old standby. The mother to the popular calving ease sire “Simplicity” she has been raising the right kind for years. Braun’s have raised some foundation pieces to some of the most dominant Maine cattle in the country and a lot of that sprouted from “44” herself. This is a throwback mating with a current look and build. Think of the endless mating options for this one. Almost scary to think about the return on investment an All Me daughter out of Lot 25 could take to the bank.
Kevin Braun’s “5308“ donor is on the front side of his donor pen. Being successfully shown by his niece Kennedy, she stems from the “Jackie” donor we own with them. Going even further back in her lineage you find the Strictly Business/Heatwave cow that was from the heart of the herd of the late Jack Goodale. This is the kind of female we plan to layer into this sale for years to come. They are a product of generations of ET work and selection from the most productive cow families. Lot 26 is different for a Maine Angus. Twice as wide hipped as her breed contemporaries and look that will stop you in your tracks.
PLUM CREEK
From the first time we laid eyes on “Vicki” we knew she was the multibreed generating kind, she is owned and was shown successfully by the Tlach family. Vicki sets the bar in regards to squareness of build and having the extra big body shape. Even though she found success in the ring it was apparent that she would be the most effective in the donor pen. Like her Mahogany Prime sister who sells as lot 9, this heifer has the blend of dimension and structure we are after. Get in on the ground floor of this future standout cow family.
“MeadoWest TC Hannah” owned by TC Reds of Ringle, WI is no stranger to raising elite Red Angus. The Bayer Family have become great friends of ours and are great role models for us. They raise progressive stock at the highest level, but, more importantly are the down to earth genuine people we all want our kids to be around. With daughters winning from Denver to Fort Worth, no show is too tough for this potent cow family. Bigfoot sets the standard for extension and look, and you can see it blends perfectly with the rib and fleshing ability of the Hannah. Lot 28 is green but her neck, lack of chest, pliable rib, and running gear make her a sleeper hunter’s deluxe. I’d bet on her long term.
MLK BIG FOOT SIRE OF LOT 28
LOT 28
MLK BIG FOOT X MEADO-WEST TC HANNAH ( PIE DEEP CREEK 120)
// RED ANGUS
Layne and Mallory Robinson own lot 29’s dam “Sangria”. An unbelievable Synergist daughter that has all the intangibles that are so hard to come by in the Red Angus breed. In just her first flush this young donor is destined for greatness and will be heard from for years to come. We have been lucky enough to have Layne here helping us during the week this fall and couldn’t have got this set ready without his help. He is incredibly talented at all things, and we are thankful he chose to load up this impressive heifer and help our family prepare at the expense of being away from his own young family. As you have probably realized, we like cattle that are different from the median in their breed. Lot 29 doesn’t look like other Red Angus, and that’s why I like her. Massive feet and bone, wide made, and the dark red color other reds can only achieve after a date with some hair dye.
LOT 29
RED SIX MILE PARABELLUM 675G
SIRE OF LOT 29
RED SIX MILE PARABELLUM 675G X SANGRIA (SYNERGIST)
Our “19” donor is a direct daughter of the famed Max Rosa 310 female that was the heart of Cyclone Trace when they were in the Shorthorn game. Being a full sib to Crall’s “9111” that was selected as a back-to-back Louisville champion, we couldn’t imagine a more potent linage for a Shorthorn pedigree. 19’s first calf was purchased and exhibited by the Curtin Family and was Reserve Supreme heifer at Aksarben and now raised a sale highlight for their Oct. 5 SCO sale. We have sold every calf out of 19, making her truly a “no miss” donor. Lot 30 is wild looking. Even the most bored college students in a Thursday afternoon Calculus class couldn’t draw one better than this.
“Grace” is yet another donor that resides in Prole, IA for the Tlach family. Without a doubt one of the softest and most flexible Profit daughters ever born. Huge legged and “bendy” in all her joints. She is so easy to mate. Foot size and shape is where she excels even further and without a doubt contributes the same advantages to her next generation. Lot 32 & 34 were my picks of the litter of Mahogany Prime daughters produced out of Grace this year. Check out other full sisters on Tree Lane Farms sale on Oct. 17th on SCO and Brain England’s sale on Steerbidder. Watch the videos of these heifers. How about the looseness and comfort to their skeleton?!

Out of our “16” donor that is a High Maine cow sired by New Beginnings and goes back to our Claire donor, who is the mother to All Me. This one has genetics stacked into her pedigree deeper than anyone cares to read about. This cow has clicked on everything I have ever tried her to and Bankroll is no different. This is the best “16” daughter to date. Perfect footed and dual registered, this one is ready to hit the show road.
LOT 34
“RBS Rhythym E748” is a Paradox x Ruby donor of Reck’s that was a past sale highlight in their bred heifer sale and has been a dominant donor herself ever since. Her first flush last year resulted in a $37,000 SAM daughter in our 2021 sale. RBS Rhythym E748 is a daughter of our “Ruby ‘’ donor that we partnered with the Lashmett and Reck families on. “Ruby” was purchased from Nate & Leslie Ruby. Ruby, is sired by Grandmaster and out of the immortal 418P cow of Nate’s. We have flushed Ruby extensively and all now have daughters of her in our donor pens as well. Ruby and her daughters throw cattle with as perfect of a hip and rear leg as you could draw, and always have a bold and maternal rib design. Lot 35 is a standout from any view you can get of her.
RJ’s “Rita” donor is one that needs to be on everyone’s list to get a daughter in their herd. Being the donor to numerous high sellers and endless winners, Rita’s breakout year was highlighted by a full sib to Lot 36 bringing $164,000 and winning Junior Nationals, Iowa State Fair, and Louisville Supreme for Sara Sullivan. Lot 36 is another sleeper and is one of my dark horse picks to be the best heifer in the sale. Extended yet dense, she is sound enough to walk to the show. I should have her fatter than I do to maximize her retail value but she is in perfect rig to turn it on as soon as she steps foot on the new owner’s property.
Lot 37 needs to be on everyone’s list. She is the older baldy version of her maternal sib Lot 35. The cow power in her pedigree and generating potential long term foreshadow a quick return on investment here. She’s just one mating decision away from delivering a knockout Purebred.
LOT
RJ’s “Lady Killer” donor is no question having her breakout year. A past high seller from Hara’s, she not only raised one of RJ’s high selling heifers in his September sale just a handful of weeks ago but has daughters in Boyerts and Will Coors’ sales as well. Not to mention the best male animal I have seen all year in a full brother to Lot 38 that will be a sale highlighted live lot in the 2023 Embryos on Snow. I might be biased but this heifer was the standout of her sisters and combines pieces that normally don’t get offered in one package. No need for a trailer on this one, with her feet and legs you can just walk her to the show.
Reck’s “512” daughter represents the breeding program they have built for generations. She combines the most productive cow families that they have built their brand around. Body and maternal function describe her best. Lot 39 is out of a past highseller in Reck’s bull sale they call Upper Hand. He is a son of their 4354F bull that is a full sib to Fort Knox and has done a knockout job for them. Like many in the sale line-up, she exemplifies the structural integrity we demand with a progressive blend of power and look. This one needs to be on everyone’s list.
Cher was a specimen.Owned with the Lashmett family she was one of the first cows that fed my addiction for progressive Simmental cows. She was too wide to fit in a chute. Her body was unlike anything you have seen before, and she still had a long neck and a flexible running gear. Cher has recently passed and it’s going to be fun to watch her daughters and granddaughters carry the torch forward from here. Lot 40 is the first of the Remedy daughters out of Cher she is going to be a big time generator for her future owner. Lot 41 is longer and more extended than most Ledgers. She has her mom’s hip length and flexible joints. High tying and smooth, this one is getting better everyday.
“Tink” was special from the day she was born. She is the first daughter out of our Rudy donor and was purchased by the Bayer family. Tucker had an incredible run with her and ended up being Reserve Champion at the NWSS. Tink has the biggest and soundest legs and an abundance of power. The Double Up mating turned out to be a home run. Lot 42 has all the substance of her mom but tops it off with a longer and more feminine neck.
WHF/JS/CCS
LOT
The Relentless donor owned by Tree Lane Farms is one impressive unit. She is the mother to countless high sellers and winners. Lot 43 is a full sister to the fall born female being campaigned by the Schick family of Illinois and also the flushmate bull TL All Rise sold by Hartman Cattle Company to the Eeg family. It doesn’t get any better for pedigree or phenotype.
“Shania” has been a staple in the Bruhn Farms donor pen for years. She is the kind of female a program can be built around. Nick Anderson purchased a pregnant recipient out of Bruhn’s sale and lot 44 was the result. Nick is a huge part of our operation both helping at shows and here at the show barn preparing for sale. When we unloaded this heifer here this fall I got fired up. The biggest legged, burliest made Simmental in the offering.
SO REMEDY 7F
LOT
The “Surrender” cow owned by the Eeg family may be the most potent of them all. We understand the versatility these Grandmaster females bring to the table in production and this particular one will make all bulls look good. She has averaged over 15K on a flush of Profits. She is one of the most impressive beasts and anyone who has seen her standing at TransOva will tell you just how impressive she is. Her daughters are starting to hit production and are giving customers a huge return on their investment. This is a cow family everyone needs to have a piece of! Lot 45 is so bold in her rib and is the best necked Surrender to date. Like all Surrender daughters what will really set her apart is the way she gets out and goes.
LOT 46
“Polly” is another donor owned with the Curtin family. She is a Profit daughter out of the Surrender cow that we already highlighted. Like her mom, Polly is going to be a generator. With her first flush being to remedy we feel like she hit it out of the park. Polly is soft spined, level hipped, and an ideal hind leg. Lot 46 & 47 are both massive in their rib and powerful. They have incredible feet and legs. They both have a little skin in their throat latch like most with that kind of substance shoulders back. Both look incredible tied up.
“Vicki” is going to be a household name sooner than later in the Simmental breed. Two maternal sisters sold on the Boyert Core Sale last week for $34,500 and $55,000. She is owned by King Cattle Co, Hicks Cattle Co & Jared Werning and she throws every one of them with a wild look about their head and neck. They are all huge bodied and incredibly sound structured.
Have your ever seen a Relentless this flexible in her spine or as good flanked and this good in her neck attachment?
Out of Bayer’s One Eyed Jack cow that is incredibly functional built and extremely hairy. Lot 50 is an example of why we are so excited about the Brand New Man calves. Extremely long necked, square hipped, and a monster hind wheel. Holy smokes! This one will grab any judge’s attention from the moment she hits the gate and then will keep their attention once they get up on her. She is a sweetheart to be around and is fun to work on.
LOT 51
I have always referred to “Rudy” as my convertible. I gave way too much money for her but have never regretted it a day in my life. She has an undeniable advantage of foot quality and flexibility within the Simmental breed. She is bold and dimensional, yet femine and attractive. Rudy’s first calf was shown by Tucker Bayer and was many time champion including being reserve Simmental female in Denver. She also raised the high seller off last years sale that was selected by the Roeder family of Aledo, IL that was selected as the 4th overall female at Simmental Junior Nationals and just won Supreme Female at the World Beef Expo open show. She is as consistent as any cow I have ever ran across and I have never had a throw away calf out of her. Lot 51 and 52 are both direct Rudy daughters. There is no doubt that they will continue the success seen by the daughters before them and will end up in the donor pens for their future owners!
“Mia” is a Broker donor owned by the Curtin family and MPJ Cattle Company. She was successfully shown by Brooklyn Curtin and ended her show career as being named Reserve Simmental female at the American Royal and division champion at the NAILE in Louisville. Mia is also the dam to our new promotional bull “Brand New Man” that we think is the softed spined and structured Relentless son on the market. Heifers or bulls -purebreds or lows- Mia flat out gets it done. Lot 53 is a full sib to Brand New Man and as you can see from the two lots above he is for real. This heifer has the length and presence needed to have a winning bred heifer in the end and the donor dam to be a big time producer in her corner.
