HIGH SCHOOL Janel Burnette, daughter of Judy Burnette is graduating from An Achievable Dream Middle & High School. She plans to attend Virginia Polytechnical Institute & University in the fall. Her future goals are to become a Psychologist & help teens and young adults with mental health. Elisiana Floyd, daughter of Keasha Floyd is graduating from An Achievable Dream Middle and High School with a 4.01 GPA. She will be attending Howard University in the fall. Her future goals are to attend medical school to become a doctor. Skylar Galloway, daughter of Steve and Stephanie Galloway is graduating from Nansemond River High School with a 4.1 GPA. She has been accepted to Virginia Tech. Her future goals are to become a veterinarian/veterinary ophthalmologist and to pay off parents loans. Jaala Jackson, daughter of Rev David & Jenee Jackson is graduating from Kecoughtan High School with a 4.10 GPA Highest Honors. She plans to attend Norfolk State University in the fall. Her future goals are to support and fund arts programs for people of all ages. Diamond J. Laws, daughter of Marian Bridges is graduating from Phoebus High School with a 3.5 GPA. She plans to attend Norfolk State University in the fall. Her future goals are whatever God has in HIS purpose for me Deitrick Leggett, son of Janet Leggett Phillips is graduating from AN Achievable Dream Middle & High School. He plans to attend Elizabeth City State University in the fall. His future goals are to pursue a degree in Psychology. Brandon J. Morris, son of Rev Lenny & Barbara Morris is graduating from Nansemond River High School with a 3.59

Joyner Stephenson, daughter of Robert Sean Stephenson and Nicole Gaddis is graduating from Nansemond River High School. He plans to attend Elizabeth City State University in the fall. Her future goals are to major in Social Work. Amir Watts, son of Ashanti Watts is graduating from Grafton High School with a 3.14 GPA. He plans to attend Radford University in the fall. His future goals are to major in Social Work.

COLLEGE/ POST GRADUATE Alisa Best, daughter of the late Cassandra Nixon, graduated from Liberty University School of Law with a degree in Juris Doctor. Her future goals are to pass the bar exam and begin working as a Business an Estate Planning Attorney helping to educate communities of color on wealth building and preservation techniques with hopes to bridge the racial wealth gap. She also, plans to obtain a Masters of Law in tax from Boston University School of Law. Special Bridges, daughter of Marian Bridges, graduated from Bryant and Stratton with a degree in Human and Social Service. Her future goal is to counsel children with behavioral issues. Romona Butler, wife of Furlando Butler Sr., graduated from Liberty University earning a Masters of Education with a 3.97 GPA- Highest Distinction.


Rev. Jermaine M. Ellis, husband of Nicole Ellis, has graduated SUMMA CUM LAUDE from The Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology with a Masters of Divinity with a 3.918 GPA. His future goals are to feed the Lord’s sheep through the preached word. Deaconess Terry Floyd, wife of Deacon Vernon Floyd, graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in Education Specialist with a 3.7 GPA. Her future goals are to continue serving as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Ghena Foster, daughter of Greta Foster, graduated from Strayer University with a Master in Human Resources with a 3.5 GPA. Her future goals are to work as a human resources recruiter then manager. Aubrielle Gardner, daughter of Aletheia Gardner, graduated from Regent University with a Master’s of Business Administration - Financing & Investing. Her future goals are to start a non-profit or pursue grant writing for existing nonprofits. Whitney Graves, daughter of Deirdre Graves and Willie Graves, Jr., graduated from VCU School of Medicine with a Doctorate of Philosophy in Epidemiology. Her future goals include a research fellowship with the National Committee in Quality Assurance in Washington, D.C. Rev. Cora K. Harris, daughter of Danah Kaigler, graduated in 3 years from Old Dominion University with a BS in Biology. Her future goals are to conduct research & work in the medical field as a CEO. Leila M. Young, daughter of Lavita Young, graduated Magna Cum Laude from East Carolina University with a Major in Social Work with a 3.8 GPA. Her future goals will be attending Howard University Law School in the Fall of 20222.
