Celebration of Life for Mable Pierce

Page 1

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun; Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

God looked around his garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth, and saw your tired face. He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He chooses only the best. He knew that you were suffering, and in so much pain. He also knew in heaven you would never hurt again. He knew your road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So He closed your weary eyelids and whispered “Peace be thine.” It broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone… For part of us went with you the day God called you home. We Love You , The Family

Our hearts are saddened Of our mother gone to rest. She will never be forgotten By the ones who loved her best. She bore her suffering with a smile To soothe our broken hearts But God looked down from heaven And so we had to part. God wanted her for an angel, To guide us here below Someday, we will meet you, Mother, Where we shall part no more.

The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and acts of kindness that have been expressed to them during the illness and passing of their loved one. Thank you Getshsemane family for your hospitality and love. Special thanks to LPN Shelia Beachman, RN Debra Boyd and the home health aides for the caring of their mother.
