This day reminds us of their sacrifices and offers a chance to reflect on how we can support our veterans and troops. Ways to Show Support: 1. Express Gratitude: A simple "thank you" to veterans acknowledges their sacrifices and service. Take a moment to appreciate their dedication. 2. Support Veterans' Organizations: Contribute time, resources, or funds to organizations like Wounded Warrior Project, Fisher House Foundation, and Disabled American Veterans, providing essential services and support. 3. Create Employment Opportunities: If you have a business, actively seek to hire veterans in your business. Initiatives like "Hire Heroes USA" connect veterans with employers recognizing their valuable skills. 4. Community Involvement: Attend veterans' events, participate in parades, or volunteer at veteran-focused organizations in your local area to actively engage with and support the veteran community. On Veterans Day, let's unite in honoring and supporting those who've served in the U.S. military. Expressing gratitude, supporting veterans' organizations, creating employment opportunities, and engaging with the veteran community are all ways to contribute to their well-being. Bringing Hope to Our Community: Join Arms Reach Ministry for Weekly Food Distribution Arms Reach Ministry is excited to announce that every Wednesday at 9 AM, you can find us on Jefferson Ave, between 24th and 25th streets, where we'll be hosting a food distribution event. Our mission is simple: to provide nourishment and hope to those in need. We believe that no one in our community should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from.

SENIOR TRIP Participate in the Senior Ministry's pre-fall senior trip to Lancaster, PA on August 2 3, 2024. This excursion covers transportation, admission fees, lodging, dinner, and breakfast. Additionally, there will be a shopping opportunity. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required by December 15, 2023. Please note that lunch during travel and any personal shopping expenses are not included. Lodging is arranged on a double occupancy basis.
