From 1971 I held relatively short Chemical Engineering positions in the industrial gas, petroleum, research & environmental engineering sectors in Australia and the UK. During this time I developed an interest in the emerging areas of renewable energy systems & ecological design. I volunteered in these two areas for a short time in the USA. In 1980 I commenced lecturing & teaching Senior Mathematics in the states or territory of Victoria, the Northern Territory & Queensland, Australia through to 2006. During this period I continued to contribute to & lecture on small scale projects in renewable energy systems (including two co-productions of the quarterly South Wind: Bulletin of the Australasian Wind Energy Association). Since 1978 I have studied the work of the Australian pioneering originator of the Keyline system of landscape design P A Yeomans (1905-1984), including compiling an extensive archive. More recently I have uploaded rare Keyline films, articles & photos to websites.
