Fourth generation Landon Erway took over grandfather’s agency

State Farm Insurance selected Landon Erway as the next agent to replace Kale Erway, Landon’s grandfather, at the Larned offi ce location in November 2020. Landon completed his 12-month agency development training and took over the agency on December 1st. Th e Erway Agency has served the community for 64 years throughout four generations.

Landon feels blessed to carry on his family’s legacy stating, “Th is specifi c agency holds a very proud piece of my heart. Th ese two men before me have spent lifetimes creating multi-generational relationships with the hard-working people of our community. Harold Erway started his State Farm Agency in his home located at 718 Santa Fe., Larned, in 1957. Harold was a 35 year agent from 1957 to 1992. His son Kale, a 32 year agent, started his career on July 1, 1988 and retired November 30, 2020. Camron Erway, son of Kale and Marsha, has been a State Farm agent for 16 years in Salem, Missouri.
