All-Day Youth Camps

Give your kids a summer they will never forget! Gaithersburg Youth Camps offer a variety of fun-filled activities that keep your children happy, safe and entertained. Campers participate in an array of sports, arts & crafts, and group games with friends every day. Each week campers participate in a special activity that may include a guest entertainer, special event, or field trip. Campers swim at the Water Park at Bohrer Park two days each week. A copy of your child’s birth certificate may be requested at time of registration.

Camp Endeavor

Ages: 11-13 yrs as of September 1, 2023

Location: Activity Center at Bohrer Park 506 South Frederick Ave

Camp Hours: 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

Camp Endeavor offers something for everyone! Enjoy daily activities and electives including team building challenges, group games, sports and arts & crafts! Campers take advantage of onsite amenities including picnic pavilions, gymnasiums, the Water Park, and Mini Golf. Each session campers participate in a special activity that may include a field trip, special event, or Student Service Learning (SSL) project. Campers swim at the Water Park at Bohrer Park two days each week. Please note that the full field trip schedule is not yet confirmed, but the annual Six Flags trip will take place during Session 7 (cost of Six Flag Trip included in fee). No additional fees are required for other field trips. Session

Camp Accelerate

Ages: 11-14 yrs as of September 1, 2023

Location: Robertson Park Youth Center, 801 Rabbit Rd

Camp Hours: 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

Camp Accelerate offers thrilling off-site trips and special events every day! The final trip calendar is still being finalized, but campers can look forward to destinations such as; Skate ‘n Fun Zone, Greenbrier State Park, Splashdown and more! Campers will swim two times each week at the Water Park at Bohrer Park and should be prepared to play challenging daily activities and games. Please be aware that participants require a level of independence. On some trips, campers may not have counselor supervision at all times. Participants, at times, may be grouped with campers of different ages.

Dance & STEM Camps

This five day STEM forward class offers a variety of interesting science, technology, engineering and math activities designed to keep young brains entertained and stimulated. This camp combines hands-on activities, engaging presentations and design challenges all created to immerse learners in the Engineering Design Process. Participants will use communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity while completing various projects.

Dance Camp

Ages: 6-11 yrs by first day of program

This innovative camp offers the opportunity to sample various dance classes such as ballet, tap, hip-hop, modern and jazz. Students will learn dance history and tales of various ballets. Camp is open to new and continuing students.
