CELEBRATION TO HONOR 11 DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AND FRIENDS
Guilford College will celebrate the career accomplishments and contributions of 11 alumni and friends during the annual Alumni Awards ceremony April 14.
Included among the award recipients is our inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award winner, a distinguished scholar who escaped the Holocaust as a child.
On the other end of the spectrum, our Young Alumni Achievement Award winners include a family doctor with deep Guilford roots serving in rural North Carolina and the first African American woman coaching full-time in the NFL.
Among our Charles C. Hendricks ’40 Distinguished Service, Alumni Excellence and Community Cares Award recipients, there are individuals who are leaders in medicine, business and public service and have rendered significant service to Guilford over many years.
And again this year we offer the rare honorary membership in the Guilford College Alumni Association to individuals who have, over time, become fully fledged Guilfordians through their long-standing dedication to the College.
