At Plymouth Harbor, wellness is defined by continuing broad interests and a healthy lifestyle for an active mind and body. Our new 10,000 square foot wellness center engages both equally. Here you will find a rich myriad of activities surrounded by spectacular views of Sarasota Bay. Start your day with a workout in the fitness center, a soothing Tai Chi class or a dip in the pool. Maybe you prefer the creative outlet of our woodworking shop or art studio. Join in on a game of bocce or a sit in on an educational lecture. There is so much to choose from, the possibilities are endless. And it is not just a possibility, but everyday life here at Plymouth Harbor.
Once you see Plymouth Harbor and meet the vibrant people who call it home, you will change the way you think about your future. Residents treasure the time they spend in their lovely, spacious apartment homes – yet appreciate all of the thoughtful services and amenities that are part of the Plymouth Harbor lifestyle. And they love the beautiful setting that looks like a first-class resort, but feels just like home. Come see for yourself – and get a new perspective on retirement living. RINGLING INTERNATIONAL ARTS FESTIVAL When: Oct. 15 through Oct. 18 Where: The Ringling Tickets: $30 to $35 Info: Call 359-5700 or visit ringling.org Even though the world is more connected than ever before, for most in the United States the arts and culture of Asia remain mostly a mystery. But this year’s RIAF is entirely dedicated to bridging the divide between the West and the East with the entire festival dedicated to showcasing Asian artists hailing from China, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan and Japan. Dance, puppetry, music and circus arts will all be represented as the Ringling celebrates another festival of diverse performing arts.

The blue-eyed soul duo from Philadelphia returns to the Van Wezel. The highest-selling duo of all time, Daryl Hall and John Oates have received numerous accolades across their storied career. The group has released seven platinum and six goldselling albums, and in 2014, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
For the classical music world, December is marked by the sounds of sleigh bells, Victorianaged carols and Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker.” The Sarasota Orchestra is kicking off its December without sleigh bells and holiday sounds with a world premiere of “Symphony in M-L” by Sarasota resident composer Jerry Bilik.
Before it goes back to Broadway this December, don’t miss the musical adaptation of Alice Walker’s Pulitzer Prize-winning story of struggle and redemption, “The Color Purple,” at WBTT. With a book by playwright Marsha Norman and a soulful soundtrack, “The Color Purple” is an uplifting start to WBTT’s 16th season.
MACMILLAN, WRIGHT & ASHTON When: Nov. 20 and Nov. 21 Where: Sarasota Opera House Tickets: $35 to $105 Info: Call 359-0099 or visit sarasotaballet.org The Sarasota Ballet is celebrating its 25th anniversary. And though there will be plenty of reflection, nostalgia and reminiscing, the ballet isn’t going to just celebrate. It’s going to bring works to the United States for the first time. This triple bill includes Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s “Concerto” and U.S. premieres of Sir Peter Wright’s “Summertide” and Sir Frederick Ashton’s “Marguerite and Armand.”

We may have opened our Sarasota doors in 2009— but we are anything but new to Trusts and Investments. Our rich history began in upstate New York back in 1919, when our affiliate, Canandaigua National Bank & Trust, was granted trust powers. Over the years, we’ve learned that clients are looking for expertise, education and advice, and an exceptional customer experience—and that’s exactly what we provide. We separate ourselves from our competitors by setting a minimum investment level at a fraction of what other firms require, allowing us to deliver customized financial planning to more investors with their specific needs and goals in mind. Looking for comprehensive trust and investment solutions delivered with the personal attention you deserve? Discover the difference at Canandaigua National Trust Company.
