About, Dr. Simone Moretto Dr. Simone graduated in Dentistry from State University of Campinas in Brazil. Afterwards, she obtained the titles of Specialist, Master and PhD in Restorative Dentistry at the Sao Paulo University, Brazil, building part of her education at BIOMAT Research Cluster – Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium . As a researcher she developed a sound scientific background with papers published on peer reviewed journals and presentation in several International Congresses.

With 14 years of clinical experience and a solid academic formation, she built up a long-term expertise which supported her when lecturing in courses of Continuing Education and teaching as an Associate Professor at Ibirapuera University in Brazil . Module 1 A d v a n c e d: intro to multiple layering technique
During this two-day training course we will discuss and demonstrate an easy layering technique and give you guidelines for correct shade taking. This course will provide you with a level of creative freedom that matches your working techniques and requirements. After this course you will feel comfortable to work with different layers in your composite restorations. The application of opaque dentine, dentine, enamel and special translucent colors will become second nature.

About, Dirk Galle, CDT Dirk graduated from the Dental Institute Anneessens, Brussels in 1995. While working in Germany, Australia and Belgium he specialised in fixed prosthesis and veneered superstructures on implants and aesthetical restorations. Between 1999 and 2003 Dirk worked as a ceramic trainer for a large ceramic production company in Belgium/ Luxemburg. Since 2003 he works as a Technical and Training Manager for GC Europe. Dirk is a specialist in the field of: • Polychromatic build-up technique for ceramics and micro ceramic composites • Individual layering and aesthetical rehabilitations especially on zirconium and alumina structures • Large superstructures on implants with focus on zirconium in combination with natural pink gingival ceramic With over 800 ceramic courses on his record, Dirk is a professional ceramic trainer and a frequent worldwide asked speaker at Symposiums & Universities.
