Bandes Construction
With another successful project behind us, it is with great pleasure that Bandes Construction provides East Coast Metals with a recommendation letter…. From shop drawings to engineering, fabrication to erection, East Coast provided quality work throughout all. The principals were always available to discuss the project and the project management was exceptional. My experiences working with East Coast Metals continue to be excellent and I am pleased to have found a subcontractor that I know I can count on.

Summit Construction They worked closely with our organization, the engineer and our tilt wall contractor on this project to proactively prevent issues from arising, allowing them to outperform a very aggressive schedule and ultimately interpret that to reduced project costs. Their components of work were executed with the highest level of expertise and professionalism. They have set the bar high for all our other vendors to strive to achieve comparable performance. Their preplanning, coordination, and commitment to the project’s overall success has rendered the very qualified team at East Coast Metals as one of our top performers, if not the top.

Looking To The Future When looking to our future, we know that we must first reflect upon our past. At East Coast Metal Structures, we regard our past with great pride and satisfaction. Through hard work and dedication, we have been able to grow to a size that was originally unimaginable. What started as a 3 employee startup has successfully grown to over 110 employees, and it doesn’t end there. With our recent purchase of Sembco Steel, the 21,000 square foot facility in Riviera Beach, we plan to employ at least 40 more individuals. This $2 million acquisition will also help us continue to expand across the Southeast. Over the past few months, we have expanded across state lines reaching as far as Texas. State lines are not the only thing we are crossing. Our recent trip to the Dominican Republic has resulted in ECMS going international. We have previously worked in the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, and the Turks and Caicos, and the Dominican Republic is our newest addition to servicing the Caribbean. Our future in the international market is more than promising. ECMS also plans to build a new office and miscellaneous metals shop in Lantana, FL, which breaks ground in 2016. The new building will be two stories high, approximately 9,000 sq ft of miscellaneous metals shop, and 4,000 sq ft of office space, totaling about $1.2 million. This investment will allow growth of the company like never before. Our vision is to become a giant family extending across the Southeast and the Caribbean. Given our success, we appreciate the opportunity to give back to our community. There are many charities that hold a special place in our hearts which we donate to throughout the year, such as the Centro Mater Charity, Kids Cancer Foundation, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Lauren’s Kids Charity, Jackson Laskowski Keep Hope Alive Fundraiser, and Taylor’s Closet Foundation - just to name a few. Hannah’s Home of South Florida is another organization that we contribute to; ECMS recently fabricated and installed the structural steel for their new location, free of cost. This will directly provide many young pregnant women with a place to live. As we expand, our ability to spread generosity will grow as well as we begin to support more charities than ever before. We believe here at ECMS that our future is bright, and we take great pride in making it bright for others as well. We look forward to our future with you.
