Advertising with GDCTA The GDCTA is the largest GMO in the southeast and our website is the place to go to find out what is going on in the world of Dressage and Eventing in our area. The GDCTA newsletter, Collected Remarks, is digitally published 10x per year with one yearbook issue mailed to ~800 members. The website is viewed by more than 200 people per day. Additional advertising opportunities are available. Please ask!

If you have related events you’d like our members to see they can be added to our calendar when you become a member. (The GDCTA calendar only lists GDCTA sponsored and member events. You can become a member for $55.)

We are moving to a full digital calendar (10 issues) for the newsletter with one yearbook issue in print. You can see what we've published so far on the Newsletter page www.gdcta.org/newsletters. Our Member Directory is also now digital and for members only but the Member Services page is public and can be found on the website www.gdcta.org/members-links.

GDCTA is always looking for opportunities to partner with you to get your message out to our dressage- and eventing-focused members. We have advertising and sponsorship packages, a la carte options, and custom sponsorships that will achieve your goal.

Tip Whether you're selling horse treats, shavings or the cure for common ailments, your product or service will never sell if buyers don't know it exists. When it comes to reaching prospective customers, you only have a few seconds to attract, establish their trust, and appeal to their needs.

Advertising does work, if you keep the following in mind.  Try to identify your target buyer, and define how your product or service can improve their lives. Target only people who have a genuine need or desire for what you are trying to sell.  Write a benefit-filled headline, and support this benefit throughout rest of the copy.

Remember to write at an eighth grade level, and use a conversational style. Also, include coupons, website or toll-free numbers for samples, free trials, or free information.  Test each advertisement you produce, and keep track of your responses. Add response information to a database, and follow up with regular, repeat offers. Rank your prospects by their type of response, and drop ones who don't respond at all.  Ads that look like articles work better than ones that merely entertain.
