HERE TO HELP
HOW CAN I SUPPORT GDIF?
If you have any questions about Greenwich Fair, need help finding a performance, or just want a good lunch recommendation then come and talk to us at the Info Points in Greenwich Park, Cutty Sark Gardens and the Old Royal Naval College — they’re marked on the maps on pages 4, 12 and 17.
Thank you for asking! GDIF is a registered charity and, in addition to annual funding grants (which represent 28% of our income), we rely on the generosity of our audience and supporters. Our volunteers collect cash donations at almost every event, so, if you can, please make a contribution to the collection buckets after a show, and help us continue to deliver high quality, free, outdoor arts events year after year.
Follow us on Twitter @GDIFestival for updates.
You can also make a one-off donation of £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 by text. Text GDIF17 and the amount to 70070 e.g. GDIF17 £10. To give a higher value donation visit justgiving.com/gdif. If you would like information about the benefits of joining our patrons scheme please email support@festival.org.
Welcome to Greenwich Fair, GDIF’s annual ‘festival within a festival’, offering three, jampacked days of family friendly art, circus, games, installations and street arts. 160 years after being banned for its disruption of Victorian Greenwich, GDIF’s contemporary reinvention of this nineteenth century knees-up returns with more than 30 productions. This year’s programme has a special focus on artists from South Korea, alongside the best of UK and international outdoor arts. Part of the Royal Greenwich Festivals
This Guide is designed to help you get the most out of your visit. Read on to see what’s in store across our four locations: Cutty Sark Gardens, the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich Park and, on Sunday, traffic-free Greenwich Town Centre. Each section details the performances in that location, alongside maps, and handy schedules so you can plan your day. Share your photos with us using #GDIFestival and we’ll share some of our favourites throughout the day.
ACCESS Welcome to Greenwich Fair! Please note a few shows have limited capacity — please check listings for details. On Sunday there are BSL interpreted shows, an interpreted route and a limited ‘on demand’ service from the Info Points — check schedules for details. For large print or for any queries visit the Info Points. festival.org @GDIFestival

02 Greenwich Fair Guide Friday 23 — Sunday 25 June
FOOD & DRINK Greenwich Market is open late for Friday Street Food Fest, with delicious street food, cocktails and London Brewers beers — perfect for refuelling before heading up to the late-night Museum of the Moon shows. A host of tasty options will keep you going throughout the weekend. In Cutty Sark Gardens you’ll find vegan goodies from Rupert Street’s and American-style Engine Hot Dogs.
For a cake and caffeine boost head to Dungarees Coffee and for a cold, refreshing beer Craft Beer Man’s your man. Plus on Sunday Greenwich Market’s finest food trucks park up in King William Walk, giving you even more foodie options out in the street. Alternatively for traditional pub classics with a contemporary touch we recommend The Old Brewery in the Old Royal Naval College.
SHOW YOUR LOVE FOR GDIF GDIF is a registered charity and we rely on the generosity of our audience and supporters. Show your love for GDIF with a suggested minimum donation of £5 (of which £3.50 will go directly to funding our work) and take a little something different home with you today.

This year Maritime Greenwich is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List. This is a unique group of the most important cultural and natural places on earth – special places to be cared for and preserved and which people are encouraged to visit, explore and enjoy now and for generations to come.
In celebration of the 20th anniversary, GDIF is presenting an incredible programme of outdoor arts at the top of Greenwich Park hill, giving you the chance to experience the home of time and space in a whole new dimension. Performances in Greenwich Park are supported by Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site.
