What’s not cool to do in first year Don’t be really annoying in class. Don’t be really loud in the mornings in the locker areas. Don’t go around thinking your all hardy. What’s cool to do in first year If your able to get 2 or more sprite can’s out of the vending machine with €1. If you give someone ends of your drink. If you give someone a euro for the vending machines. By Rebecca Casey

Sport- Rugby The Ireland rugby squad are due to play Italy at home in the Aviva Stadium over the weekend in what will be Brian O Driscoll’s last home Irish match of his career. The 35 year old centre has 131 caps for Ireland (most capped Irish rugby player), and has made 8 test appearances for the British and Irish Lions. Brian O Driscoll’s first Ireland cap was when he was just 20 and he has been one of the strongest and most skilful players ever to wear that number 13 jersey. Going into this match Ireland are joint-first in the RBS SixNations, having won against Wales and Scotland, and a narrow defeat to England in Twickenham. Ireland are expected to win, but Italy can be a fairly unpredictable team, so the match could go either way in the end. Key performers for Ireland during this campaign are Rob Kearney, Peter O Mahony, Andrew Trimble, Jamie Heaslip, and of course, the

Sport- Luis Suarez Luis Suarez. What do you think when you hear that name? Cheater, diver, cannibal, etc. Well, when I hear the name, what I think is: extremely talented goalscorer who wears the number 7 jersey for Liverpool with pride. This talented 27 year-old Uruguayan forward has scored 24 goals and 12 assists in the Barclays Premier League this season alone. He is due to star for Uruguay in the FIFA World Cup 2014 this summer, and will probably be their leading scorer, too! He is probably one of the best examples of the question - “Can we get past the antics if the goals are being scored?”. And in my opinion the answer is “yes” because it his unstoppable partnership with Daniel Sturridge that will more than likely book Liverpool a Champions League spot for next year. By Fionn Murphy

Man United. Worst Season Ever The start of the season was their worst start in 12 years. Bad beginning for new manager David Moyes. It just got worse. From August to December they only won 10 games out of 19. They also lost 4-1 to bitter rivals Man City. After that they were coming 6th. The new year wasn't the best either. They lost their first three games and were coming 9th. If you were a man utd fan you would think that it would only get better. Think again! The Champions' League group stages were a bit shaky but they got through in the end, where they faced Greek side Olympiakos. They were out played and out classed on the night as Olypiakos scored 2 goals. Manager David Moyes was under a lot of pressure at

after that. Could this be the worst ever season by Man United.

3/3/14 Late Tyrone Double Shocks Kildare

2:30 Newbridge

Two Tyrone goals in the final minute earned them two points in this tight encounter at St. Conleths Park, Newbridge. Ronan O’Neill and Mark Donnelly scored the goals when victory seemed unlikely. Despite a poor record against Tyrone recently Kildare started brightly with seven points inside 10 minutes. A Darren McCurry goal meant Tyrone only trailed by a point at half time, 1-09 to 013. Kildare grabbed a goal just four minutes after the restart when big full forward Tomáis O’Connor fisted the ball to the net. As the two teams headed into injury time Tyrone were trailing, 1-21 to 1-16 but the two-quick fire goals left Kil-

Second Half City Overpower Black Cats

Lying bottom of the Premier League and after being eliminated from the F.A Cup, the league cup was always going to be Sunderland’s only hope this year. Manchester City however are still flying high in The Premier League and are still left in the Champions League (barely). A mediocre City performance in the first half was not costly despite trailing 1-0 at half-time. Liverpool reject Fabio Borini opening the scoring deservedly after Sunderland dominated the opening half. The Manchester side were revived though in the second half and two stunning goals in quick succession from Yaya Touré and Samir Nasri put City

What Exactly Is Vine? Vine is a video-sharing app. But it’s not just any video-sharing app. It’s designed in a way for you to film short, separate instances so they can be linked together for a total of six seconds. Each short video plays in a continuous loop, and are viewable directly in Twitter’s timeline or embedded into a web page. How the Vine App Works First of all, you need to have a compatible smartphone to download the Vine app. Vine is owned by Twitter, and the an app for iOS devices and Android devices. The look and feel of the app is similar to Instagram, showing you a scrollable feed of all your friends’ vines on the homescreen. You also have your own profile page, which you can customize later after signing up. Vine takes most of your information from Twitter, including name, photo, bio and transfers it to your new Vine account when you sign up. Making Your First Vine When you’re ready to make your first vine, the app will walk you through all the steps. The idea is to film very short, separate instances for a full six-second video. As you get started with filming, the app will ask you to hold your finger down on the screen for about 1 to 2 seconds. After that, it will ask you to film two more times. Vine then 21 puts all three of those twosecond shots together to make your first vine. By Finn O’Brein

St. Patrick’s Day: How to tell if an Irish man is having a good time? He’s Dublin over with laughter!!! What does it mean when you find a horse shoe? Some poor horse is going bare foot. Why did the elephant wear green shoes instead of red ones? Because the red ones were in the wash! Are people jealous of the Irish? Sure they’re green with envy! Pickup lines: How many leprechauns does it take to break the ice? None, hi I’m (inset name) I met a leprechaun today, but Ill let you have him because he did his job, I was lucky enough to meet you. I thought your smile was a shimmer from a pot of gold so I followed it and I found something as bright and beautiful as a rainbow. YOU! Easter: Fry-day is an eggs least favourite day. Why can you never tell an Easter egg good joke, cause it might crack up!!! Why did the egg hide? Because he was brought up by a chicken. How many Easter eggs can you put into the one basket? Only one, after that its no longer empty! 25
