“ Ya Gotta know where to Go….The FUN Starts Here….”
we don’t do the same for ourselves... This one is directed mainly at our male readership, but it applies to all of our readers.
don’t do the same for ourselves. We are all getting older all the time. While our mind tell us we’re still 21 (don’t we wish) our bodies don’t act like 21 anymore.
These cars and trucks and other vehicles that we call our pride and joy and love on and baby, are very special to us. We take portions of our days, weeks, etc. to fix them, maintain them and make sure they are running right and looking good.
We hear it weekly, about someone we know getting sick, coming down with a serious ailment or worse. We get sad and say if they only had gotten a check up.
We will get out there in our shops, garages, man caves or whatever you call yours, and take care of every little need that vehicle has.
Yet when talking to folks, primarily us guys, there is a “SUPERMAN” mentality or a “if I don’t go to a Dr, I don’t have a problem” thinking and belief.
We even go above and beyond and add new parts to improve performance and looks of our pride and joy too.
We need to take care of ourselves better than we take care of our hot rods folks. We should be able to enjoy this stuff for a long long time. Takes some maintenance though folks. Got yours scheduled yet?
You have done this or do this...haven't you...don't you? Be honest...yes you do. I know I have and do too.
Jimmy B.
Tell me then, why you...we

Road Rumblings….
It’s the end of a chapter gearheads. Hollywood Hot Rods is moving from it’s 40 E. Palm Ave location. For all of you who always wanted to see HHR at this location, you have waited too long to make the journey. It sounds like the whole block that HHR was located on is going to be bulldozed and replaced with 247 apartments. It just ain’t right. If there is a good thing in all this, it’s that Hollywood Hot Rods isn’t going far. They will still be in Burbank, one exit north on the freeway, about 2 miles away from the old location. Moving is never easy, but to move a whole business is brutal! As Troy Ladd said, “have you ever tried to move an entire hot rod shop in 3 days? I have and I don’t recommend it”. We would agree!! 6
Follow Up on the Nashville Cars & Coffee Cruise Articles we did!
Sh*t got extremely real for 19-year-old Tahj Turnley, after he nearly lost it into a crowd leaving the Nashville Cars and Coffee last month. He is now facing a felony charge for reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon. You can see what’s allegedly the fishtail that got Tahj arrested on video, uploaded by the local Franklin Police Department from a Facebook poster. The PD explained in a blog post that officers “used this video, posted on social media, to help identify Turnley.” Tahj is currently out on a $5,500 bond and his hearing is set in the first week of May. The top poster on the local Nashville Cars and Coffee Facebook Page summed up the affair with all of the tact we have come to expect of social media, writing “Why is it always the people with sh*tty cars that try and show out? No one gives a f*#! about your 10-year-old V6 charger, I promise.”

Story & Photo’s by Jimmy B
2017 marks the 60th year of the Tri-Five Chevys. The popularity of these 3 years of Chevrolets can not be disputed by anyone.
When Chevy fans and especially TRI-FIVE lovers get together, the only argument is about which year is their favorite, and why. At this years Grand National Roadster Show, a whole building was dedicated to TRI-FIVE Chevys to kick off the celebration across the USA. Show producer John Buck and his ROD SHOWS team did a great job inviting some of the nicest and coolest TRI-FIVE Chevys from across the USA to be part of this awesome display. We wish we had room to show all of the TRIFIVES that were on display, but we don’t unfortunately. What we do have is a variety of the TRI-FIVES for you to enjoy. We’re going to let the photo’s speak for themselves and let you decide which is your favorite one and year.
