“ Ya Gotta know where to Go….The FUN Starts Here….” “THANK YOU on behalf of all us gearheads in the USA! “

Well its here...the last weekend in October of 2017. And you say “that is significant for what??” End of the month...yep. Halloween is here...yep. Don’t know about you, but I wear my costume everyday...LOL! Daylight Savings time happens in one more week...yep. The biggest thing that happens this time of year and this time of October, is that a lot of the cruise-in’s, cruise-nights wrap up for the season across the USA. Not everyone has “cruise weather” all year long like California, Florida and other nice climates in the southern part of the country. To all of you who have hosted, produced, promoted and help run these fun events weekly, monthly or whatever frequency you do, THANK YOU for what you have done all year.

What it is you have done, is given a whole lot of us, a whole lot of gearhead fun. If you are running it, you do not always get to just sit back, kick back and watch the cars roll in and out. Again for what you do for FREE... THANK YOU on behalf of all us gearheads in the USA! I can tell you with no reservations, we are all looking forward to next years cruise fun with you. CRUISE-IN PRODUCERS/ ORGANIZERS: Effective with next weeks issue, unless you have informed us differently, we are assuming your cruise is ending after this weekend. If you want us to keep running your listings, let us know ASAP so we do not pull your listing!! Also, send us the 2018 Cruise In Info as soon as you can...we are ready for 2018 cruise fun!

Jimmy B.

“the fun starts here”….

Just Released! 2018 Schedule!

Story & Photo’s by Jimmy B

In the Mid-South USA, along the banks of the Cumberland River, you’ll find Music City USA a.k.a. Nashville Tennessee.

Nashville is known for the many recording studio’s along Music Row, (and it’s not just Country music coming out of those studio’s,) and the colorful Honky Tonks and bars along lower Broadway, all the way to the rivers edge. Just about any time day or night, seven days a week, music is playing somewhere in Music City. For the 12th year in a row, there was sweet hot rod music coming from the other side of the Cumberland River. Horsepower Music!

The 12th Annual GOODGUYS Nashville Nationals filled the grounds around LP field, with over 2000 Hot Rods, Muscle 30

Cars, Cool Cruisers, Trick Trucks and even more great vehicles! Definitely our kind of music! Sweet music we might add. After a great Thursday Night Kick-Off Party hosted by and at ADVANCED PLATING , the big show kicked off Friday morning as all those cool rides rolled into LP Field. The HOT ROD of the YEAR (HROTY) competition since moving to the Nashville Nationals in 2016, has done nothing but GROWN in popularity and en-

tries! Another stellar field of competitors signed up for a Friday full of fun to see who would win the HROTY for 2017. Check out issue #21 to see this years winner!

Swap meet, VENDORS, VENDORS and more VENDORS were part of the weekend fun too. Add in the Autocross . 31

competition, which is always intense at this events, show & shine, Specialty Parking area’s, PRO’s PICK’s by Alloways Hot Rod Shop and All American Sunday, and you can se why this GOODGUYS event is growing every year. Another advantage or feature of this event, depending on how you look at it, is the nightlife in Nashville is awesome. Easy to get around, and so much fun to be had after a great day at the event itself. Get your ride tuned in and making some sweet horsepower music and plan on

coming to Music City USA in 2018 for the 13th Annual Nashville Nationals
