Welcome to October!! The calendar just flipped another month on us! Depending on where you live, the start of October may not feel like the fall season has arrived. I know as we in Middle Tennessee have been breaking records for heat and hot days each day that goes by. The whole eastern half of the USA is in the same situation. I am sure that when old man winter comes to town, we all will be wishing for this hot stuff to come back. When October hits, the number of cruise-in events start to wrap up for the year. Just a fact with the cooler weather coming in. While most of the cruise-in’s we list each week will end, some continue to go on all thru the fall

and winter months, weather permitting of course. Here’s what we need you to do if you run, organize, direct or lead a cruise that will go on thru the fall and winter. You NEED TO TELL US THAT THE CRUISE RUNS ALL YEAR. We cant read minds and most flyers we have do not indicate whether it runs all year. Send us an email telling us how long your cruise runs. If your cruise dates are on your flyer, you are good and don't have to do anything. Having said all this, make plans now to hit that local cruise in or why not even drive to a different one just to try it out. Driving there will be nothing but smiles per mile... LEGO to Release 'Top Gear'-Themed Set LEGO and the automotive television show Top Gear have announced that the toymaker will be creating a Top Gear-themed set to be featured in the company’s Technic line, which will be available for purchase in early 2020. The Technic line offers more advanced building, allowing builders to create things like gearboxes and steering systems. Jason Easy, head of licensing UK, BBC Studios said “‘We are extremely excited to have partnered with LEGO Technic. Both brands enjoy a very close relationship with their fans, it’s certainly a natural fit for both and we’re really looking forward to seeing the LEGO Technic Set hit the shelves next year.” Eloise Bradley, senior licensing manager, the LEGO Group said “Bringing LEGO Technic and BBC Top Gear together will be a dream come true for car fans all over the world. We’re looking forward to working with BBC Top Gear to bring some amazing innovative engineering to life – stay tuned!”

LEGO has announced they will release a Top Gear-themed set, similar to the pictured Land Rover Defender.

Rtech Fabrications Bulldog K50 Blazer to Appear at SEMA Award-winning builder of custom 1967-1972 Chevy/GMC trucks, Rtech Fabrications will debut the Bulldog K50 Blazer in the Toyo Treadpass display at the 2019 SEMA Show. Rtech is best known for its 4-door Crew Cab conversions, and the Bulldog is a slight departure for the company: it retains the factory doors but adds the signature Rtech 2Â˝-ton medium-duty platform. The Bulldog Blazer is also competing in the SEMA Battle of the Builders. See it in the Toyo Treadpass display between the Central and South Halls at the SEMA Show. Project contributors include Toyo (tires), American Force (wheels), AMP Research (Power Steps), BD Diesel (turbocharger, transmission cooler), FAAS (lift pump), Flowmaster (exhaust), F-O-A (suspension), GT2 (braided plumbing), Dakota Digital (gauges), Rtech Fabrications (Double-DIN dashboard, 60-gallon aluminum fuel tank, rollcage, bumpers).
