AUG 26: ST LOUIS MO ( Madison IL): 27TH HOT ROD POWER TOUR: Celebrating 27 years in 2021, the legendary HOT ROD Power Tour Driven by Continental Tire will once again roll through the heartland of hot rod culture as it returns to five cities in the Midwest beginning Monday, August. 23 through Friday, August. 27. Day 4: Thursday, Aug. 26 - World Wide Technology Raceway, St. Louis. Day 5: Friday, Aug. 27 - State Farm Center, Champaign, Ill. For more info go to https://www.hotrod.com/events/power-tour/ AUG 27-28: GRAND RAPIDS MI: 28th STREET METRO CRUISE: Event is being held on 28th Street located between I-96 on the east side of G.R. going west to I-196 on the west side. The big single show is the all GM car show at the famed, Berger Chevrolet on 28th. There is also MOPAR show at the MOPAR dealership, Fords at the Ford dealer and Lincoln dealer, Caddies at the Cadillac dealer. Lots of car shows on that day. Cruising all day long and night too. All the usual eateries along it street and then some other great places to eat at too. Parking lots also filled with cars all along the street. Even a place for those “rice burners” too. Now, if Covid is still going strong, social distancing will be still in effect as well as masking up too.

AUG 27-29: EVANSVILLE IN: 46th Annual Frog Follies Frog Follies: This event "is THE largest PRE 49 Street Rod event anywhere in the world!" We provide fun for the whole family with games, activities, and dances during the weekend. Our automotive swap meet is one of the largest in the United States and is held in conjunction with the rod run. The commercial street rod vendor area has over 600 hundred spaces and the used parts section of the swap meet area continues to grow each year. It has plenty of new parts to build your new street rod along with plenty of rusty parts and collectibles to satisfy you're your appetite for automobilia. SEPT 3: GRIFFITH IN: 12th Annual Rock N Rail Car and Motorcycle Show: Event Location is on Broad street between Lake and Elm. Hosted by GFD Association. Event runs from 2-7pm. Registration located at broad and Miller. Registration 3pm-6pm awards at 8pm. 20 dollar registration fee. Pre registration guarantees spot. Award classes: Judges top 10, People’s choice, Chiefs choice, Best work in progress, Farthest traveled and Nick Sturr memorial award. As always with this the Rock n Rail fest will be happening, which means there will be plenty of food vendors and live music. Please come out and support the GFD association this year and help make this years show the biggest we’ve had!!. Cash Drawings till 3pm, Dash Plaques for all Entries. 50/50, Door Prizes, (please bring canned food for local food pantry's) Location: Saline County Fairgrounds
