$28 Conc $26 Conc
A runaway success in London’s West End, Edinburgh Festivals, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and right across the USA, this is a hilarious send-up of classical music, which has established Australian pianist, David Scheel, as the successor to the legendary Victor Borge. Beautiful music, and musical fun performed in so many accents/voices that David has also been compared to the late Robin Williams, and Peter Ustinov. Hear a familiar tune played in the styles of the old masters + an i-Pod; two famous pieces played simultaneously, one with the right hand, one with the left, plus his “translation” of the lyrics of Waltzing Matilda, already a comedy classic. “The only show in town that can satisfy lovers of classical music and comedy alike.” San Francisco Chronicle

LATE, LATE AT NIGHT - RICK SPRINGFIELD By Kieran Carroll Sunday 3 March, 2pm Theatre Seating - All tickets $20
Late, Late At Night is a stage adaptation of Rick Springfield’s compelling and searing memoir, the New York Times best-seller, Late, Late at Night. It traces Springfield’s Australian and British childhood, his early music days in Australia, his rollercoaster ride in 1970s America and the huge pop and acting successes of the 1980s. This is followed by his fall from public view, his mental health demise, and finally, the resurrection of Rick Springfield as an artist in the 21st century. It is the epic journey of a suburban boy whose journey to fame and fortune came with enormous personal costs. This performance will be live streamed into thousands of homes in The United States of America. 6

THE VESSEL AND UNTIL THEN The Vessel by Dawn Bamforth Until Then by Paul Canlan Sunday 20 October, 2pm Theatre Seating
Adult $30
Conc $28
A work based on a poem titled Empty Vessel, written six months after the death of the writer’s mother in Aged Care. It was a decidedly bleak and unflinching gaze at the terrible wasting disease that is Lewy body dementia. Mary is the Everywoman of our elders in care and, similarly to many older women in society, she is often unheard, misunderstood and overlooked. The fact that she is for the most part, non-ambulant and non-verbal, does not prevent her from interacting with the people around her. In Mary, we can appreciate the playful, fully-rounded, feisty person she was and still is. There is reference to family violence and abuse (inferred and spoken) in both plays and we will provide information and phone numbers for referral services in the program and at the performance.
