Welcome to the summer edition of the Love Central Geelong Fun Guide! This is your guide to all the best activities happening for the summer school holidays in central Geelong - Wednesday 21 December - Thursday 26 January 2023. The program is a collection of activities, events and exhibitions for children 3-16 years, delivered by central Geelong businesses and the City of Greater Geelong. All activities will follow the Victorian State Government’s COVID Safe directions. Participants are reminded to follow the latest Victorian health advice regarding mask wearing, maintaining physical distancing, hygiene practices, staying at home if unwell and bieng COVID-19 aware. So, what are you waiting for? Start planning your school holidays!

EYE SPY ART ADVENTURES— DIGITAL LANDSCAPES
Create your own moving image using collage and digital coding inspired Luminous relic (2017), a major collaborative painting and moving image work by Mandy Martin (1952–2021) and Alexander Boynes, with a score by Tristen Parr (exhibited as part of Mandy Martin—Persistent Vision).

We are expanding and evolving the National Wool Museum to become a museum dedicated to Geelong and our community. We are inviting our young Museum friends to tell us what they want their museum to be in the future. Draw your plan of the Museum, rewrite the object labels, learn how to handle museum objects, or give a guided tour of the galleries.

The Giant Sky Wheel is back in Central Geelong!
The largest travelling Ferris Wheel in the Southern Hemisphere is returning to Eastern Beach this summer. THE RAINBOW TREE
The Rainbow Tree is musical storytelling with moving images. Written with children from Rainbow Families, it shares personal and imagined stories around the idea of family, identity, and community.
