Uniform Guidelines 2015

General The College uniform is to be worn correctly to and from school, at school and on such other occasions as indicated by the Principal or Head of School. • • • • • • • •

The blazer (Years 7 to 12) is to be worn to and from school every day, unless notice is given that it may be removed because the heat is excessive. The blazer is to be worn to Assembly, all formal occasions and on excursions where uniform is required. The blazer should have three buttons in place at all times. The College spray jacket can be worn as the outer garment (Early Learning to Year 6). A designated school scarf or a navy scarf may also be worn. T-shirts worn under shirts or blouses must be white, without a visible logo and should not be evident under the shirt. Hair is to be neat, one natural colour and not extreme in style. College school bag.

Students’ appearance in uniform is expected to be relatively conservative as determined by the Principal and Head of School.

Trousers/shorts are not to be “baggy” and are to be worn on the waist. Belt is to be dark brown or black and is mandatory. Shirts are to be tucked in except during physical activities at lunchtime and recess. Ties must be worn at all times. For assemblies, blazers are required to be worn. Mid-calf College socks are to be worn in summer. Grey or black socks are only to be worn in winter. Shoes are to be polished black leather school shoes with no obvious logo. Hair is to be neat and of a reasonable length (above collar), style and one natural colour. It should not be excessively gelled or waxed. No visible jewellery, including body piercing, is permitted. The face is to be clean-shaven.
