MARCH – MAY 2012
AUTUMN EDITION
“ W elco m e ” It’s my pleasure to present you with the Geelong Regional Library Corporation’s events and programs brochure for March to May 2012. Public libraries play a vital role in our region enabling all members of the community to engage in lifelong learning and leisure activities. We place special emphasis on the development of reading literacy and with this in mind, provide a huge range of children’s and youth activities. We are also helping the community keep pace with changes in technology through our educational programming. Libraries are community spaces. Our activities encourage people to meet and learn together and share a thirst for knowledge. This brochure details opportunities for every community member to participate and learn. We hope to see you in our libraries regularly. There is something for everyone.
