PEOPLE AND SAFETY • Lead the implementation of strategic frameworks and approaches that ensure a resilient workplace culture that will enable a curious, caring and skilled team across our libraries • Lead the development and execution of a proactive safety culture • Lead the identification, planning and implementation of employee relations strategies • Ensure compliance with legislation, standards and policies

ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND CULTURAL TRANSFORMATION • Design and implement best practise change and communications strategies and frameworks to support new services and systems • Lead organisational plans and actions in response to staff feedback and culture surveys • Implement organisational development programs that embed cultural transformation

ADULT EVENTS AND PROGRAMMING • Lead a creative approach to events so GRLC is known for quality traditional and alternative programming that grows a diverse audience

COMMUNICATIONS AND ENGAGEMENT • Increase membership and visitation through strategic and innovative communications • Grow our profile as a leader in the region and the public library sector to enable advocacy for our growing service • Lead increased staff engagement through strategic internal communications

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT • Embed an innovative approach to attract partner investors, build our retail brand and venue hire revenue, underpinned by robust and transparent systems and reporting

LEADERSHIP AND CULTURE • Provision of leadership, direction and management oversight to enable a high performing and successful Division that demonstrates a safe, strong and enjoyable workplace culture
