JUNE – AUGUST 2012

WINTER EDITION

“ W ELCO M E ” It’s my pleasure to present you with the Geelong Regional Library Corporation’s events and programs brochure for June to August 2012. Your libraries are offering a great number and array of activities and events this winter. We place special emphasis on the development of reading literacy and with this in mind, provide a huge range of children’s and youth activities. We are also helping the community keep pace with changes in technology through our educational programming. Libraries are community spaces. Our programming for adults is also extensive with book chats, poetry readings, author events and many other activities on offer. There’s no better way to stay warm this winter than visiting a library and participating in our events and activities. This brochure details opportunities for every community member to participate and learn. We hope to see you in our libraries regularly. There is something for everyone. Cr Andy Richards Chair 2012 Geelong Regional Library Corporation Board Members: Cr Barbara Abley, Cr Helene Butler, Cr David Cotsell (Deputy Chair), Cr Cameron Granger, Cr Rod Macdonald, Cr Joe Remenyi, Cr Andy Richards (Chair).
