The Burglary It was a dark winter night. The burglar checked the cupboard for any forgotten equipment, and the mirror for his appearance. Then for the last time he read the list of instructions his criminal boss had for him. When he reached the corner he was joined by his accomplice, who did not seem to share his jocular and joyful mood. They boke into the mansion through the servery where the groceries were normally delivered. The burglar elected to crawl through first, but alas, he sent a saucer, containing milk for the pantry cat, crashing to the floor. The two thieves tried to keep tight control over their nerves, but they panicked and ran. The police captured the two fugitives a short distance away from the house, and they appeared in court the next day. control
