Level Eight Unit Three

Anthony K Whelan anthonykwhelan@yahoo.com

Sir Henry was a knight; not a very bright knight, but he tried hard. In fact he was very trying. From neck to knee he wore a pair of large leather boots. But his boots were the wrong size and his pink stocking showed where his big toe stuck out. One sunny day he went down to the stable and brought out his faithful old horse named Arthur. Quickly he threw on the saddle and pulled the strap up tight. Then he mounted and galloped off at great speed in search of an army to lead into battle. Unluckily he never found his army. He was bucked off by Arthur in a desert like patch of land where after two days he died of a broken heart.
