The main role of Business Management is to maximise the sales opportunities for our vendors and ensure we are delivering on all our joint strategic goals. We have an excellent team of business managers at Gem and my role is to manage and direct them, whilst retaining strategic responsibility for some of our key partnerships.

What’s the next project on your ‘to do’ list? Apple’s long reputation for being ‘malware free’ has taken a huge blow as a new botnet, Flashfake, has infected Apple computers worldwide. Kaspersky Lab confirmed this week that of the 670,000 computers infected by Flashfake, more than 98 per cent were most likely running a version of Mac OS X. Kaspersky Lab’s experts initially found that to infect victims’ computers, the cyber criminals behind the Flashfake botnet were installing a Flashfake Trojan that gained entry into users’ computers without their knowledge by exploiting vulnerabilities in Java. he Spec Ops military shooter series makes a long-overdue comeback this summer, with the release of a big budget, narrative-driven reboot.
Developed by German veterans YAGER, Spec Ops: The Line is billed as a "provocative, cinematic third-person military shooter that challenges players’ own morality." Set in a ravaged Dubai in the present day, The Line takes place in a city reduced to rubble by a cataclysmic sandstorm six months previously. But when a radio signal starts broadcasting from the shattered remains, a Delta Force team headed up by Captain Martin Walker is sent to infiltrate the city, find its source and locate any survivors. Upon reaching Dubai remains, the team finds the city in the grip of a violent struggle for control, with US Army Colonel John Konrad instrumental in leading the madness. The squad-based shooter tests players by placing them in the middle of "unspeakable depravity" where "brutal life-or-death choices take them on a journey into the heart of darkness."

Facing enemies who are "unafraid of death" and "hell bent on destruction," players have to employ a variety of combat tactics, authentic military weaponry and the environment to survive.
Alongside its engrossing campaign mode, Spec Ops: The Line also boasts competitive and team-based multiplayer modes - including a "never-before-seen mode with unique connections to the main story."
Spec Ops: The Line is set to feature accessible combat and squad controls that allow players to get straight into the battle, armed with authentic weapons as they engage in "extremely physical" close-quarters battles.
