Dear Fellow Cattlemen, It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Ed Kaehler Homedale Cattle Company Annual Bull Sale in Mobridge, SD. We have put together an impressive set of bulls backed by many years of progressive Simmental and Angus genetics that will meet your needs. This includes low birth, high gaining set of bulls that are fully backed by an unconditional 100% guarantee. In addition, all the yearling bulls in the sale will have an enhanced set of EPDs and a comprehensive set of data to help you make the best decision for your herd. Every bull in this sale has been raised on our farm and is from a cow that has been retained in our herd for a reason. On the sire side, we have carefully selected the AI sires and consistently invested in new herd sires to provide the best performing genetics possible. The bulls in this yearâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s sale were all born unassisted and had an averaged actual weaning weight of 705 pounds! LETTER FROM OUR VETERINARIAN

The Ed and Julie Kaehler Family beef farm is a well-managed, high herd health enterprise that we have provided veterinary services to for over 40 years. The cattle are routinely vaccinated for reproductive, respiratory, and clostridial diseases. The cows are pregnancy tested by palpation or ultrasound and the bulls are semen tested by our clinic. The replacement heifers are calf-hood vaccinated. The Kaehler family prides themselves in providing healthy, disease free, high genetic stock to their customers. RETAINED INTEREST IN BULLS Ed Kaehler’s Homedale Cattle Co. retains a one-third revenue sharing semen interest in all bulls selling. The buyer has full possession and 100% salvage value of the bull. DELIVERY AND BOARD $100 discount per bull if you haul your purchased bulls home on sale day. Bulls not hauled sale day will be fed free of charge until early April and given a breeding soundness exam, and then delivered. Delivery will take place approximately April 5. We will make delivery convenient and affordable. Free delivery will be provided to central points in IA, MN, ND, SD, and WI. Delivery outside listed states will be arranged by us and kept affordable (less than $300/head) with the expense to be equally shared. HERD HEALTH All cattle selling will be accompanied by appropriate health papers for immediate interstate shipment. All cattle have been vaccinated with IBR, BVD, P13, Vibro Letpo 5, eight-way Black Leg, and poured with Ivomec. Scrotal measurements will be available sale day. All bulls tested BVD-PI negative.
