SIMANGUS & SIMMENTAL BULLS, FEMALES & FROZEN GENETICS
On behalf of the Southern Superior members and Ruble Cattle Services we would like to welcome you to the third annual Southern Superior Fall Sale. We’ve taken the very best bulls from members around the country to ensure a quality set from top to bottom. We have the best of the best from a cow base of over 1,000 head. We’ve also screened the set of bulls down further after the development process to ensure an outstanding offering. These bulls have been developed to the optimum condition to maintain their virility and longevity. Every bull has been developed with no preferential treatment whatsoever. These bulls are rugged and have been adapted to do their job well in any environment. Our program focuses on making cattle that exceed expectations set forth by the United States beef industry. We use genetics that have great EPDs and Indexes and have the phenotype you love to look at in the pasture. This year features new blends of genetics out of the bulls that have been proven to work in the Southern United States and have been popular around the country. We have scoured the country for the best AI and cleanup bulls to make their genetics available for you to use in the Southeast. Many of our bulls are outcrossed from other seedstock suppliers in the bull sale area. This group was one of the first in the country to use the bull KBHR HOMELANDER J071. In his first sale season he has had bull top the Irvine & Gibbs sales. These bulls offer
a chance at breed leading and breed changing genetics. We also have added more 18 month and 2 year old bulls which are really hard to come by. We feel confident this year’s fall sale has something to add to every kind of cattle program. We look forward to seeing you at the sale or talking to you over the phone. If you can’t make to the sale we will offer you a complete description of the sale cattle and we can help arrange affordable trucking to most of the U.S. Mr. Philip Cato and his family have once again worked hard hosting this sale and making improvements in their facility to accommodate a larger sale offering. Please consider trading in your old bulls or purchasing a breeder quality bull to help us reward the families involved in this sale. The cattle market is at an all-time high. Can you really afford not to improve your herd by adding quality and new genetics? The cattle producers with high quality cattle will be financially rewarded. Take the opportunity this year to upgrade your herd bull battery and step the genetics of your herd for years to come. We hope you will join us for the best in southern hospitality.

K087 is a homo polled homo black son of RLWF WRANGLER E35. He offers an age advantage bull who comes with experience. He was born in southern AL and has resided near Savannah, GA. He will be able to handle a big group of cows or heifers on fescue or costal grass easily. CE
BLPF MR JESSE L21 is Homo Black, Homo Polled and Homo good. He is out of the new outstanding AI sire KBHR HOMELANDER J071 who is the top new Sim Angus bull in the breed who offers top 1% growth, marbling, API & TI in a big rugged sound package. Jessie much like his sire has awesome figures plus he is a baldy. You would have to scour the earth to find a white face Sim Angus bull with this much look, unique pedigree and data behind him. He ratioed 172 on IMF on his ultrasoud records. He is a big time bull who deserves to be widely used and needs to end up at an astute breeders herd as he is the front pasture kind. I consider myself very lucky to have produced such a high quality bull. We strive to make them better every year but this bull is going to be hard to top. Just in the past month the first Homelander sons were sold at auction. While only a small sampling of semen was used bulls topped Irvine’s Sale in Manhattan, KS and they created pandemonium at the Gibbs Sale in Ranburne, AL with one baldy bull topping the sale at $55,000 selling to Cow Camp Ranch, Eihacker Simmentals and All Beef Genetics. He has growth, maternal value, a lot of chrome, and an excellent disposition. This bull can put fast growing calves on the ground but will make you consider retaining heifers. As stated with L1, we retained all heifers out of the original flush and they have recently calved - we are very pleased with udder size and milking ability. He will only be 12 months by sale day, so he is young but felt like he would be worth the investment.

If a replacement bull is not available, the customer will receive a credit to be used at a consignor’s future sale. The credit will be calculated as follows, the purchase price of the original bull minus the salvage value. The consignor will not be held responsible for any settlement value exceeding the purchase price of the bull.
Buyers are expected to provide the proper maintenance for the purchased bull including but not limited to proper nutrition, a proper environment, and proper breeding capacity expectations. Inexperienced bulls (< 2 years of age) cannot service as many females and should only be exposed to 15 to 20 females in a 60- to 70-day breeding season. One rule of thumb is that a bull can service about as many cows as his age in months. Therefore, a 15-month-old bull should be able to service approximately 15 cows in a typical 60-day breeding season.
Every bred female is guaranteed to be bred on sale day. In the event a bred female is found to be not bred at the time of the sale, the customer needs to contact the consignor immediately and no later than 6 months from the sale date. Every open heifer selling is guaranteed to be open at sale time and to be a satisfactory breeder provided they are managed for proper nutritional and physical health. Every bred heifer selling is guaranteed to be bred at time of sale. Otherwise, the customer will be given credit for the purchase price of the animal in a future sale or for private treaty purchase from the consignor.
