“Our family has been buying bulls from Thomas Angus for over 5 years. We focus heavily on maternal, docility, and carcass genetics. 70% of our operation is on publicly managed ground. People hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian riders are going through our cattle daily. Thomas Angus bulls have proved to be very easy to get along with when turning out for breeding, gathering in horseback, loading in trailers, and while working on foot in the hay bunks. This includes everything from a newly purchased yearling bull up to a 5 year old bull. Our terrain can be rough, we look at and monitor how many years a bull can physically stay in our program. Thomas Angus has proven this for our operation.”
