CLIPPER ADVERTSIEMENT SERIES For this series, I made collage backgrounds composed of cut outs from old Clipper books (an older style of advertising). I specifically chose each cut out to represent the new product being advertised. The first piece, however, is strictly photography. I created a studio background out of Clipper pieces, blown up in Photoshop and pieced together, so the model could fit in the scene.
DOLLS KILL MOCK CAMPAIGN Dolls Kill is an emerging clothing company from America that is made for the “Misfits and Miss Legits�. My challenge was to assess their aesthetic and target audience to art direct, style, photograph, edit, and create a new interactive, multi-platform advertising campaign for the company. Currently, Dolls Kill communicates their aesthetic, but their message about empowering women and speaking your mind often goes unnoticed. So, for this campaign, I created #DollsSpeakToo. The idea is that the audience would recreate these adverts by writing about themselves on their bodies and recreating the photos in Dolls Kill clothing for a repost on Instagram. In this way, it makes the consumer feel that the brand cares about them and their thoughts.
RE-BRANDING FOR FRANTZEN’S KITCHEN Here you will find the work from a project in my Advertising/ Branding major class, Production for Brand Content. In this class we rebranded a restaurant. My partner, Frances Pace, and I completely rebranded Frantzen’s Kitchen (http://www.frantzenskitchen.com). We assessed their previous content and target audience to create a new logo, posters, packaging, motion graphics, and an app! Enjoy!
