MATERIALS
- Galvanised steel sheet with 200 g/m² and 275 g/m² zinc coating. Quality EN 10142 Dx51D. - Natural aluminium sheet in 3103 alloy. - Aluminium sheet with acrylic or white polyester coating in 3103 alloy. - AISI 304 stainless steel sheet. - Extruded section in Z0 6060 aluminium. - Rigid P.V.C., shock resistant. - Moplen EPT30R. - Tecnoprene A60K6. - Allowance on size according to rule EN 10143
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE PROFILES
In order to select the correct profile, it is necessary to consider the field of application (see "use" in the illustrative tables of the individual products), the thickness of the plaster (see "Thickness in mm"), the height of the premises and the size of the door and window holes (see "length in cm"). Another important point to consider is whether the material used when installing the profiles is compatible with the material used for the plastering. We recommend that chalk - based materials are never used for positioning profiles on walls plastered with cement or with a mixture lime and cement because of the negative reactions the different and incompatible chemical components would have on the profiles.
COMPATIBILITY
By compatibility we mean whether a certain plaster can be used with the profile material chosen. The compatibility test, carried out by clients using profile samples supplied free of charge by Edilferro, is particularly necessary when a new product for plastering is used. We advise to keep to the following basic rules: - Galvanised steel profiles should be used with lime or cement based plasters. - Aluminium profiles should be used with gypsum, synthetic resin stuccoes and with thermal insulation systems. - Stainless steel profiles should be used with exterior plaster, insulating plaster and for all external uses in general.

GUARANTEE
With regards to the technical data, shown on the following pages for each product, Edilferro guarantees a perfect production of the profiles and the high quality of the materials used. We guarantee the resistance to corrosion for up to 10 years only for stainless steel profiles, as it is possible that the profiles become contaminated by iron particles or come in contact with acids while being installed. For galvanised steel profiles, we can only guarantee that the sheet is DX51D quality, and that the thickness of the zinc coating is at least 200 grammes every square metre. We can not guarantee for how long the product will last before corrosion: - The storing of profiles in covered, dry and well-aired places. - Testing that the physical and chemical components of the plaster used are compatible with the material used for the profiles and the final paint. - The valutation of possible draughts, high humidity or salinity in the atmosphere before choosing suitable internal and external profiles. - The storage of the profiles before being fitted where they do not come in contact with corrosive acids. - The correct installation of the profiles and an inspection to verify that they are not scratched by sandpaper or other steel tools, which would cause the zinc coating to peel off.
RECOMMENDATIONS
The instructions and advice for fitting shown in the tables for each product must be followed.

The above functions as a supporting structural lintel for the upper section of the internal doors holes. It is built to fit any standard thickness and width of door holes. Its particular rib and sheared feature have been studied to have an adequate capacity for its usage, and ensures an optimal adhesion of the plaster both for the internal and external sections. It is used as a vertical guide to fix internal dividing walls with perimetre walls or to join two pillars with re-inforced cement. It is used as a starting guide for internal dividing walls and balconi parapets. If used on the vertical parts of the door frame, it serves metallic liner very robust for doors and windows. If used in continuity, with sections placed against one another, it could be easily utilised as a prefabricated framework supporting small sized attics.
