Deep learning. Growing faith. Real life.
Academics At Geneva, education with a Christian perspective is at the heart of all we do. Our faculty seeks to provide a challenging education that prepares student-athletes for careers, for further education and for life. In all fields of study, student-athletes are challenged to explore the far-reaching implications of the Christian faith on their discipline.
be responsible and manage
” Participation in athletics has defined my attitude toward success in my life. Because I’m a three-season, three-sport student-athlete, I’m forced to be responsible and manage my time well. Not only have I learned how to manage the seemingly dwindling hours in the day, but I’ve learned how to utilize my time more effectively.” Julia Urbanski
Facilities From Reeves Field to Metheny Fieldhouse, Geneva College offers a variety of athletic facilities to be used for intercollegiate, club and intramural play. The Merriman Athletic Complex includes an Olympic-size track and the men’s and women’s soccer fields. The facilities also include baseball and softball fields and tennis courts.

Coaches Coaches at Geneva College are dedicated not only to success in their sport, but also to building relationships with their student-athletes. They are concerned with the development of the whole person—physical, intellectual and spiritual—and care about their students’ success both on and off the field.
discipline and consistency
“Consistency does not come without discipline, to be disciplined in a sport you have to have faith in the Lord, your coach, and your team, or the only consistent thing you will be doing is losing. LAMBROS SVINGOS
Service The Geneva College Athletic Department emphasizes service, both locally and abroad. From reading to children in our community to running soccer camps in Uganda, our athletic teams work together to serve those around them.
It is not enough just to win
“It is not enough just to win. The coaches and culture insist that we grow in our faith through bible study and prayer, that we give back to the community and that we follow our main calling in our lives (being a student-athlete) diligently.“ David Harwood
Successes Geneva’s athletic teams have had great success, in recent years and throughout history. We are members of the NCAA Division III and NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association). Our teams compete in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.
