Genia Philip

Genia Philip has been a student of the world since she was a very young child. She was born in Grenada, West Indies, but she and her family relocated to Brooklyn, N.Y. when she was eight. Having become accustomed to growing up in a rural setting with minimal resources, it was only later that Genia realized that her family had been technically poor, from a materialistic perspective. This came as a shock to Genia, who always felt fulfilled and surrounded by love and family. This appreciation for non-tangible things is one of the reasons that Genia always knew she was destined to help others.
