Now besides their KPOP sensations, the Koreans made the world buzzing after a storm of Korean dramas captured much deserved attention. One of the Korean dramas that made the viewers buzzing is the phoenomenal My Love from the Stars. The show boosted the career of Kim Soo Hyun (Do Min Jo) and once agains sparked light on Jun Ji-hyun (Cheon Song Yi). Other Korean dramas that made a mark on 2014 is the Hello Stranger, The Heirs, It’s okay that’s love, Empress Ki, and The Master’s Sun.
The Walking Dead opens up a new season. And everyone is talking about it. Because everyone is in love with zombies and people just love to find more ways on how to kill them, this show is always on the list of the most popular shows around the world.
THE GIRL ON FIRE. Katniss Everdeen has returned, and she is aiming her arrow on bringing the capitol down. This new installment of The Hunger Games is definitely one of the most awaited movies of 2014. The Hunger Games ushered in new faces to bring more color to its storyline, but don’t worry Peeta, Haymitch and the rest of the cast you know and love is still there.
Threat detected. The Islamic state of Iraq and Levant have garnered a lot of media attention. One violent act after the other.

From a country girl Swift has transformed into a more upbeat, mature style that shockinly suits her. Good for you girl! World Cup Craze. Everyone around the world celebrated the 2014 FIFA World Cup. What’s not to like? The wag, the goalkeepers, the ridiculous tricks, the general craziness. It’s pure awesomeness.

The case also spark many controversies involving the relation between the Philippines and the United States.
