Being creative has always been a big part of my life, and from a young age, I always knew I wanted to be a designer. While doing my GCSEs, my passion for design started to develop further and during A-Levels, is where my drive to become a designer happened. With this, I went on to study at Nottingham Trent University, which taught me to become freer and more expressive with my work. Additionally, it encouraged me to break out of my comfort zone and discover new techniques and styles, which ultimately allowed me to turn my passion into a career in the design industry. I have developed thorough technical knowledge and understanding through my current role in the industry.

Isoform for Audo Design
Audo Design specialises in products for Hi-fi and audio, explicitly looking towards records. Isoform was based on utilising Corian solid surface off-cuts to create a new product to improve the material’s sustainability. In addition, Isoform is designed to enhance turntable listening by utilising Corian’s acoustic properties to dampen feedback and vibration noise while the turntable is in use.
PROBLEMS WHAT WHERE 24- 55 Little use for Corian off-cuts Must reduce feedback Living Room Medium to High income Feedback using turntables Must improve listening experience Listening Room Audiophiles Non-stylish alternatives Must utilise Corian off-cuts Home Office or Studio Prefer a certain quality and style in their homes
WHO
CONCEPT
This project was very CAD heavy, using Solidworks to model various concepts, as this was easier to form the simplistic CNC shapes. The project also looked into using Corian in a way that has never been done before. Therefore, various testing and experiments were done to learn more about the material as more of a user-based product.

Storec for Audo Design
In the last five years, Vinyl records have seen a resurgence in popularity, creating significant design opportunities. Storec is designed as a range of modular storage systems that can store various amounts of records, allowing the user to add more as their collection grows.

WHO WHY WHAT WHERE Record collectors New market to design for Must be simple to use Living Room Various collection sizes Need for record storage Not many stylish alternatives Could have browsing options Listening Room My own passion for record collecting Must be customisable Studio Space C D E F 3 2 1
The central concept for Storec was to have a modular system that would allow the user to add more units as their collection grows. This is achieved with the “push together” system. All the units have the same height and depth, giving them a formality and enabling them to be put together to form a larger unit.
ConceptConcept 1
[Development]
Using CAD I created this modular concept. Each unit is 900mm high and consists of 320mm x 320mm vinyl storage boxes in various configurations. Because of the consitant hight and storage boxes this allows them to become modular and can be configured together to create large pieces. Some of the configurations contain drawers and small, open, storage areas for other items such as headphones, cleaners or other household objects that can be used in conjunction woth the units.

Donkey 4 for Isokon Plus
Isokon has been developing the Donkey since 1932, with 3 Donkey generations being designed. For this project, the brief was to create a fourth donkey for the range, which would fit today’s homes and lifestyles while still keeping the Donkey ethos.
WHY WHO
Outdated
WHAT WHERE
No modern functionality Not been redesigned since 2003 To make it suitable for 21st Century living 24- 55 Must be suitable for manufacture in plywood Living Room Medium to High income Keep the Donkey ethos Lounge Area Understanding of design and style Be more suitable for modern technology and trends Home Office or Studio Knowledge about Isokon heritage Be portable
IDEATION + CONCEPT
The Donkey 4, or the Audio Donkey, is designed to store records, CDs, books and electronic devices. From primary research, I gathered that Isokon users have some sentimental value for items such as records and cassettes, which gave me the idea for record storage.
FINAL PROTOTYPE
Last Orders Tea/Coffee Set
Part of my family’s heritage was an old pub that my family had owned for three generations. Unfortunately, it has now been turned into houses, which inspired this project. This project highlights the closure and reuse of traditional pubs in Britain. The set is designed to keep the memory of the pub alive and keep it going within the home.
WHO WHY
Highlight the closure
Pub-goers
WHAT WHERE
Those who have memories of the pub Highlighting the reuse Must use an element of timber Lounge Area
Keeping the memories Must convey a narrative
Those who want to keep the pub alive
Must have an element of casting Living Room
Kitchen
CONCEPT
This project was based on narrative, so every item had to have some meaning. All the things are based around the pub but have different meanings. The coasters hold pictures, keeping memories; the sugar tray is cast from concrete, highlighting the demolition of old pubs and resembles an ashtray; the pint glass is the symbol of the pub but is slightly distorted, which shows the reuse of traditional pubs and the tray brings all the items together, like the pub.
Pint Glass
Cast Pint glass which is slightly off set in the mould.
Sugar Tray

Memory Coaster
