My name is George and I am a graduate of architecture and design. I believe I am a keen learner that likes to challenge myself, and have an appreciation for details. I am reliable and self-motivated, with an ability to adapt to new situations quickly. I pride myself on my communicative skills - visually, verbally and also in writing, and can easily work individually or as part of a team. I have a broad interest in design as a whole; including architecture, furniture and graphic design, painting, drawing and photography.

PARKVILLE
CONCEPTION: This project investigated the latest in pedagogy with an innovative new learning centre complex as part of the University High School, Parkville. Includes general learning spaces for VCE students, two lecture halls, indoor and outdoor communal areas and a new sporting facility.

CONCEPTION: From an initial study of the concepts and design principles behind Rem Koolhaas and OMA, this project involved a new boathouse along the Yarra River in Studley Park, with an additional restaurant, cafe and outdoor communal areas.

CONCEPTION: A new outdoor hard court and play-based learning area for St John’s Lutheran Primary School, Geelong. An ongoing project taken from sketch design up to a Town Planning Application, under the guidance of director. Involved designing and documenting, liaising with consultants, working within the parameters of the existing site, and adapting the design based on client feedback. Construction began in March 2020.

CONCEPTION:
The project aims to re-orient the pool as a cultural facility via the interlacing of an art gallery, artist studios, an outdoor cinema, and digitally interactive media facades - generating a central hub for local performance events, art and culturally stimulating activity for both St Kilda and the wider community. The project also makes use of Parisian pool systems in connecting its heat pump and geothermals to the residential sewer line located on Robe Street, as well as solar pv, to maintain a net-zero carbon energy loop.
