IT’S A MOOD
To support National Youth Week 2021, Georges River Council is holding a series of events over the month of April targeting 12 to 25-year-olds. The Council’s Youth Advisory Committee – YAC – made up by local youth, created this year’s program – 2021 It’s a Mood, as a reflection on the positivity, vibrancy, fun and engagement of the young generation. It’s a Mood challenges traditional stereotypes of youth, showcasing what young people can achieve, even in a pandemic. Stay tuned for a rollercoaster month of dancing, pop-up skateparks, e-sports tournaments, chess competitions, karaoke, yoga, trivia and educational and art workshops. Youth Week is an opportunity for young people to express their ideas and views, act on issues that affect their lives, and create and enjoy activities and events.
