One of the major events of the Circle K year, the Fall Membership Retreat (FMR), is coming up this weekend November 4-6, 2011. Held at the Georgia State FFA-FCCLA Camp outside of Covington, this event is the first major opportunity of the new school year for members in Georgia to come together. Our theme this year is "Circle K Cinema," and it's looking to be a blast! There will be games, outdoor activities, sports, bonfires, workshops, movies, and more! So, don't miss out on this fun and awesome event that brings in Circle K'ers from everywhere across Georgia! The registration fee for this event is $85. This fee includes lodging, four meals, meeting space, conferene activities, workshop materials, conference tshirt, and recreational activities. The registration deadline was Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Any late registration will be subject to an extra $25 fee.
REMINDERS · Registration opens Friday at 6:00 · Opening session will start at 8:00 · Dinner on Friday is not included, so please eat before arriving · Closing session will end around 11:00 on Sunday
GSU’s BBQ Hut! This past week was the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair in Statesboro, Georgia where Georgia Southern University Circle K was pleased to work the BBQ Hut to raise some money for club activities and service projects. Not only did they make a profit out of their sales, they also welcomed the Statesboro Kiwanis and East Georgia College Circle K to help out. Although chopping up Bostom butts is never an easy task, these Circle K’ers devoted their entire week to doing their best for service. Great job Georgia Southern!

Congratulations Officers! Congrats to our new Officers and Committee Chairs at Georgia Southern University and East Georgia College! This year started new and fresh with new challenges to face in our southern clubs...who will take on the leadership positions? Although a club leader role might seem daunting at first, most will quickly find themselves getting to know the ropes by asking questions, voicing concerns, and learning by experience. As Lt. Governor to both of these clubs, I was proud to hold Officer Training sessions to get the leaders better acquainted with their jobs and duties. It is my pleasure to present the 2011 club leaders of the Coastal Division:
