Location and Campus Georgia College is located in the southeastern United States equally distant to the coastline, the mountains and the state capital, Atlanta. The main campus is located on 43 acres in the heart of Milledgeville, one of Georgia’s most historic cities, and ranks among the top 25 safest campuses in the country. Beautiful antebellum homes line the streets, and the city is home to more than 20,000 residents.
The average summer temperature is 29 degrees Celsius, while the average winter temperature is 6 degrees Celsius. Students enjoy outdoor activities year-round with the abundant sunshine and comfortable temperatures.
Graduate programs are offered at both the Milledgeville campus and the Georgia College Macon Center for Graduate and Professional Learning in downtown Macon, located approximately 50 kilometers southwest of Milledgeville. Central Georgia has a mild climate with four distinct seasons.

Services for International Students
Georgia College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, baccalaureate, master's and specialist degrees. The university has programmatic accreditation through the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the National Association of Schools of Music and many other organizations.
The International Education Center at Georgia College offers numerous support services for international students from the time of application to the point of graduation and beyond. Our dedicated staff is prepared to help you make your transition to the U.S. classroom and culture and provide the following: • Pre-arrival assistance • Airport pickup • Orientation program • International student advising • Cultural programming
Housing and Dining Students at Georgia College have a variety of housing options, from suite-style residence halls on main campus to luxury apartments at The Village complex on West Campus. All offer full amenities, including high-speed Internet connection, safety features and modern fitness and recreational facilities, along with a shuttle system providing easy access to campus and shopping. Dining options are available to please every palate, from the full-service dining room on main campus to a number of specialized eateries.
Application and Financial Aid To be considered for admission, international students should visit the International Education Center website and download an application: www.gcsu.edu/international International Student Scholarships, Athletic Scholarships and Graduate Assistantships are available, all of which significantly reduce the cost of attendance. Application Deadlines: To receive the best consideration for admission and scholarship assistance, please submit applications for the Fall Semester by April 1 and for Spring Semester by September 1.
More Information Students can participate in one of seven vibrant Residential Learning Communities focused on different themes that connect students and faculty advisers to facilitate learning outside the classroom. Many international and U.S. students choose to live in the Casa Mondo community, which brings students from diverse backgrounds together to share their cultures and develop intercultural communication skills.

Student Activities Outside the classroom, students can participate in theatre productions or chorus ensembles, or join one of more than 150 student organizations, including the International Club, which is one of the largest and most active student organizations on campus. Georgia College also offers intramural sports, intercollegiate sports, clubs, fraternities and sororities, outdoor education and community service programs.
