Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s ornate design, collating his passion for detail and textures into a chapel of serenity, making each space feel lively yet cohesive in its design. Taking these subtle aspects of Wright’s designs to form a peaceful yet enjoyable environment. The paneling of the wooden columns on either side of the chapel, alludes to classical buildings. Details inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright

unconventional seating, taking influence from the minimal aspects of Japanese design. The materials chosen for the internal walls, ceiling and flooring are a light oak wood, paired with a textured white stone leading up to the chapels altar. The aim was to draw the eye to the window at the end of the chapel, to create a sense of emergence with nature and the divine, with an engraved cross in the centre of the glass frame.
