I’m very excited to work on this track. The way I see it, the music video should joyfully translate the world of Fantastic Fantastic through Kris & Micke’s performance, and great colourful graphics. A driven crazyness. It centres on five setups, and the buildup will mirror the pace of the song.

5 setups 1 1 The main setup will be the two artists performing in front of a green screen and a white screen. The performance in itself will feel like the track : versatile, playful and edgy. Kris & Micke will sing the fast paced lyrics while performing /moving, with attention payed to close ups and seeing them as a duo. (we can discuss here if they have any preferred way to perform according to their unique style - maybe with instruments as well ?) The screen will be the second part of the fun as colorful graphics will be added in post behind and around them. A variety of defined and japanese oriented graphics, soft, lush, playful but not tacky - always moving to the beat. We won’t find any character animation but will concentrate on simple shapes, lines, and signs /words.

2 2 The second setup will be based on props. The artists will perform diverse static poses in front of a white screen, with ‘random’ items, on a principle of multiplication.

3 3 In the third setup Kris & Micke will adopt the same kind of static poses, but on the background we will see them multiplied, melted and deformed thanks to the green screen - following an idea of “patterning�. This setup and the second one will work great in opposition to the main one showcasing more vibrant moving elements.

4 4 The fourth setup will concentrate on portraits of the artists, mainly singing. The changing backgrounds will compete with the patterns of their outfit.
5 5 For this last setup, I will concentrate on cutaways. Whether they are only graphics shapes appearing on their own, or close ups on Kris & Micke‘s outfit /props, it would give the perfect balance to the whole music video.

STYLE STYLE The styling and outfits will reflect the band’s bright chromatic palette and cheerful vibes. We will go with accessible brands, mixed with great pieces we can find. It should stay fresh and effervescent .
