ARBOLEDA AUDITORIUM TYPE: AUDITORIUM CLIENT: CUATRO 44 LOCATION: SAN PEDRO, N.L. The arboleda complex is in a zone of 1151 square feet in San Pedro Garza a municipality in Nuevo Leon , Mexico. It has a residential area, service zones, comertial áreas, gastronomy and culture. Within the last sector it’s located the Arboleda Auditorium, besides the fulfilling the function of being an auditorium, it has 2 areas for private events, offices and an exterior plaza that conects with the surrounding areas.

HSC HOUSE TYPE: Residential CLIENT: Hernandez Family LOCATION: San Pedro, NL. TEAM: Francisco Ruiz, Alex Lozano Designed to be energy, spacial and structurally efficient, the house it’s designed based on a 4 m x 3.5 m structural module defined by Steel colums. Hidden under the street level, the service areas are located to separate the private from the public. Also to take advantage of the soil thermic properties. A water tank is located at the lowest level to store rain water.

FUNDIDORA APARTMENTS TYPE: Mixed uses CLIENT: Leal Developments LOCATION: Monterrey, NL. The intention of this project is to insert an apartment program into a masterplan proposed for the fundidora área in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. To achieve this the program was split into two volumns where first floor is dedicated to commerce. Generating at the center a circulation system that works for the two blocks.

PIAZZA DUOMO TYPE: Social CLIENT: Politecnico di Milano LOCATION: Milano, Italia The idea for this Project is to create a temporary golf course right in front of the Milano catedral and an itinerant market in the same area. The main idea is to create a path that’s divided in 5 sectors, with the intention to enphasize the importance of the main plaza. Each sector regulated by the urban layout where a series of stands would be located each one with different purposes .

JAG TOWER TYPE: Mixed use CLIENT: TTQ LOCATION: Lazaro Cardenaz 4627, Monterrey, N.L. This project consist in developing a building as a whole, starting from the design process and planning all of the systems it would have. It’s divided in two volumes, the first one located at the base which is designated for commerce and the vertical volumen which is an area for offices.

ALAMEDA CLINIC TYPE: Community Building CLIENT: Asociacion Mexicana de Diabetes LOCATION: Ernesto Arreola 23, Monterrey, N.L. Renovation project for an existing diabetic clinic. The goal was to add more consulting rooms, a meeting room and more office spaces. To achieve this the consultation área was move to the first floor while the admin areas were moved to the upper floor. Adding an extension at the back at the building to create a flexible space for events or meetings, while dignifying the rest of the spaces.

MANGLAR HOUSE TYPE: Emergent Housing CLIENT: DIF Veracruz LOCATION: Mangrove Swamp area, Veracruz, MX. This project was originated due to the urgent housing need in the mangrove swamp area in Veracruz city. This zone has a recurrent flooding problems, low life quality, insalubrity and they are oftenly used by people in extreme poverty who build their houses out of the trash and materials they find in the area. The intention is bringing to this families a dignified home with basic materials that can be replicated easily.
